Edge Tamers - NC 15 Inches of Snow

Thanks for sharing. I needed the 6" for my bucket so I decided to skip the $200 and just spend that on a front blade. We also get a bunch more snow that you all so it will be well used.

    Kubota loaders

So we understand, you are purchasing a second tractor that will have the LA1162 or LA1251 and you are wondering if those pins will line up with the front implements (bucket, etc) you have for the LA1002.

    B2601 lift capacity

I really do like that little tractor. It is a great balance of size and capability for such a small footprint. There is a YouTube channel...GP Outdoors. He has a B2601 and does quite a bit with that machine..even on a larger property.

    B2601 lift capacity

Hey he did say POWERED wheel barrow lol Seriously though that is pretty impressive. I really like the BX23S. If it had 3 gear ranges I would probably already own one just because they are so handy. At our altitude I was pretty much in L the entire time (with the FEL and BH on).

Here is the WSM for the grand L series. Pricey! https://www.messicks.com/part/9y111-08240/service-manual-l3560-l4060-l4760-l5060-l5460 There has been a number of similar posts about these 3rd function kits and no instructions. I am hoping someone will post soon that has already been...

    Tractor Weights

They put weight on the rear axle instead of below it, which I was told isnt good. Is this incorrect?

    Backhoe storage and outriggers

Dolly and a ratchet strap on the downriggers. Lots of examples of dolly designs for small backhoes on this forum and TBN. Home Depot has 300lb steel wheel casters I really like (they are $5 each here). These and some 2x6 material and a few carriage bolts you will be set! I am still working...

    Tractor Weights

Weights arent the best for the rear axle, but I am sure it can take 50 lbs per side. It is better to get the weight lower to the ground (ie filled tires) or further from the loader (ie rear ballast). Have you considered just getting a rear implement that can double as rear ballast? Box blade...

    Problem?

Well I tell you I wont use starter fluid ever again. I used it a few times on old lawn mowers 30 years ago.....but will never pick it up again!

Kubota L6060 hst no power to glow plugs

Dave he has a HST, the shuttle shift lever is actually the speed control for high or low. It is not forward and reverse. On the HST+ transmission, we have 3 "gears" L, M, H and in each gear we also have a high/low. Kind of confusing but it is fantastic for loader work.

    B2601 lift capacity

Glad it is working out for you! Were you able to travel with that load any distance? Curious how stable it was when moving.

    New Kubota L 3301DT

I have to say I agree. They kept the shiny one so they could have it for the next person. I think it is dishonest. I asked about the bill of sale and SN on it, because I have seen a few others on this or TBN mention issues and they paid cash so no record of the SN on the bill of sale. Hoping...

First time using my front (FEL) mount snow blade

Hi Mister, yes it is called back blading. Keep the blade pointed forward just like you usually have it. You go in reverse on the tractor and use the rounded side of the blade (ie the back side...hence back blading). It is much better at distributing material, and doesnt cut in.

Do you have a contract with the Serial # on it that you signed? A bill of sale? Make sure the serials match if you do.
