    Advice for new tractor owner.

First, get the weeds cut down. This will let you see the grade better overall. Next you may want to consider stripping the top layer of organics (the weeds, etc). Then re-grade it, then reseed it and add straw for erosion control. I doubt you will be able to strip it with a B2601, so I...

    GAS Prices Dont Matter

Hey I hear ya there. We are at 8600 ft in the mountains and the only time we see people is in the summer when the pansies come from the city to enjoy our cool mountain air. In the Winter they huddle in their apartments in the city while we enjoy the piece and quiet of the cold up here .

    L6060HSTC Question

Well, they do take some time to learn to use. You cant just buy a welder and fabricate something like this in 2 hours. Also just a welder would not be close to enough. YOu would have to be able to cut the steel and the 3rd fxn guard is rounded in some areas. Sure you could slop it together...

chipper: got to work with my new Woodmaxx MX8600 this weekend...

8 inch logs with only 19 PTO HP? WC88 says 35HP at PTO. I doubt the construction is much different...so why double the HP for the same size logs? Something isnt right.

For shirts I like the Nike dry-fit long sleeve or something similar with SPF in the summer. They wick moisture really well. So much better than a button down.

Nice you up in Boulder Canyon or Heights? We had a place there for a decade. In Red Feather Lakes now. I have a Woodland Mills WC88, also a beast of a chipper. I do throw 8 inch logs in it...chews them up really well!

Landpride 72” SGC grapple for MX5200

I am looking at the same for my Grand L6060. Honestly I prefer a 60 but they are hard to find. The 72 should be ok as long as you arent torquing it much. What I dont like about LandPride is the lack of a mid upper claw reinforcement. Makes it easier to bend. However, it is the 72 now or...
