Gun haters have a new problem

That because there are stupid criminals. Just looked at a number of mine...the stamp isnt very deep. There would be no problem at all getting rid of it entirely. Not that I am doing that of course as a law abiding gun owner!

    Cost of off-road diesel

Are you sure that is off road diesel? I would be amazed if they sold it with no dye.

    Cost of off-road diesel

Not so where I buy from. They use exactly the same additives, both on and off road holding tanks are filled from the same 18 wheeler. They just add the die after.

    Cost of off-road diesel

Its simple. Take the on road price and remove the on road tax from it...that should be the off road diesel price.

Gun haters have a new problem

This has been going on for a number of years now. Not to mention all you have to do to make a gun untraceable is file off the serial# on the metal. Ghost guns are way too much trouble.

    High Use or Professional Chainsaws

I go between 8000 and 9000 ft regularly. The FI is so much better than a saw I have to fine tune each time I make the trip. Time will tell how long it lasts, but so far for my high altitude use it is great. I did have some issues with my 241 (etronic) for awhile. Had a service done and it...

    4in1 bucket..anyone use one?

I didnt buy one for these reasons. The grapple function sucks...you should not really be using it as a dozer blade on a tractor, they are heavy, and expensive.

    High Use or Professional Chainsaws

I also have a 241, really nice saw but I would not run a 20" bar on it. Currently mine has a 16".

    High Use or Professional Chainsaws

Exactly! I have a 32" on my MS500i...makes bucking and larger limbing really easy. No bending over.

    High Use or Professional Chainsaws

I run a 25" bar on a 62CC saw at 8600 ft. MS362, runs just fine. However I am all soft wood (pine, fir, aspen) so that has a huge impact.

    High Use or Professional Chainsaws

MS 362 is a great saw with a 20” bar. I usually run a 25 ultralight, but 20 works fine. I do recommend getting an ultralight bar.

    Anyone here serious about coffee?

I grind beans every day. I have to drive 1.5 hours every couple of weeks to get the roasted beans I really like (I get a few lbs). Pretty serious about my coffee. I hate keurig et al....just more plastic. For awhile I had a reusable pod and that was fine...but my current superauto is much...

Solar power for my new home

Starting the AC is also going to be a challenge. You need batteries specked and wired so they can handle a high amp surge to kick it on. Two year old batteries? I hope they are Lithium. AGMs or SLAs could be fairly used up in 2 years depending on how they were cycled. Remember with non...

Solar power for my new home

I had off grid only in my home for some time. While different than a grid tied system I do have concerns about backup batteries for HVAC. Since you are the electrician and AC guy how much start and run load do you expect to need to run it? How long do you want to run it for?

    BX ballast-400lb enough?

Depends on what you are doing with the FEL. With a 500lb loader capacity 400lb seems about right. However its really easy to test!

    Traded L4060HSTC for MX6000 cab

The main thing you missed, is the 3PT hydraulics. THe L6060 has external hydraulic cylinders which provide more lift as well as much easier service. The MX is internal. The FEL lift capacity is negligible….I think its 10 KG.
