    Kubota QH15 attachments pop off

I have the QH15. The QH15 hooks are CAT3. You can still use CAT1 or CAT2 implements but you NEED bushings for top and lower links. If you dont, you will have issues. I like getting a bunch of CAT1 to CAT2 and CAT2 to CAT3 bushings. They are much cheaper than buying a CAT1 to CAT3, and you...

Help me value my 1970s L1850

Looks priceless to me! Seriously though I would start with finding the Serial # so you can drill down the model and year. I dont see a L1850 on Tractordata.com. Is it a L185DT (ie 4WD)? http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/001/2/7/1277-kubota-l185.html

    Diesel Fuel

Good points Henro. I get mine from a very high volume farm co-op. I also use a antigel/algae additive. I use Stanadyne Winter 1000 in my stuff...there are lots of good options.

    Diesel Fuel

Off road is exactly like on road except it has red dye in it. Basically you just arent taxed federal and state road taxes on it. Run it only in farm equipment or risk being stopped by DOT and fined. It is fine to run in your BX

    Locating a M60 series tractor

You have unrealistic expectations in today's economic environment. You are either going to have to spend ALOT of time driving to get one on a lot somewhere in the US, OR you are going to spend ALOT of time waiting for a local dealer to get the one your ordered in, OR you are going to spend ALOT...

    How would you fall this?

If that is an 8 ft ladder it probably has a 150 lb weight limit lol. glad you are safe and lesson learned. The only way I will get on a ladder to cut a branch is if I can use the entire tree trunk for protection. That usually isnt the case so I dont do it much at all.

Lowering the Roll Bar and Canopy Shade on a Kubota Tractor

The simple answer is make sure the roll bar retains the same strength and dimensions as the original manufacturer provided it in. That means no drilling holes in the bar, not changing the dimensions. If it doesnt have a hinge, check with Kubota to see if they have one. I rode around on...

Lowering the Roll Bar and Canopy Shade on a Kubota Tractor

If you lower the roll bar, it will not protect you in a roll. The height/width of the roll bar calculated with the dimensions of the tractor so it will protect the operator if the machine rolls. If you lower it, then you better be a REALLY SHORT person or your head will hit the dirt before the...

Tips to clear surface water on wet but sloped meadow

First, you need to wait until the ground is relatively dry/damp to work on it, or you are just going to make it worse. This might mean Fall, but it is what it is. In general you want the water to be caught and drained/directed before it gets to the path you are constructing. This would be on...
