It would be good to have a helper if only to watch your back and be there for any emergency that might arise. Like others have said , start at the top and slowly work your way towards the root ball. Also have the proper safety equipment, eye protection, gloves etc. you know the drill

I second the green works tools. I have their weed trimmer, pole saw, and leaf blower all use the same 60 v battery. Will be getting their battery operated mower next.

Speaking from experience,If you have a well manicured lawn the b2601 with loaded r4 tires will leave marks,indentations or small ruts if the ground is soft. I prefer my zero turn. The tractor is used for tractor work 😎

^^^ I have the same mower, it mows better, faster and will be easier on your back over mowing with a tractor

I mow about 3 1/2 acres and I went from mowing with my b2601 to a z422 . Much smoother ride and better cut with the Z. Also if you go with the r4 tires they will leave ruts on soft or wet ground

Thanks for all the suggestions. After 72 straight hours of not sleeping I finally got some relief with some short term meds. I must say at my old age it was affecting my brain functions and some minor hallucinations but nothing like the crazy days of the 60s and 70s.. 😎

I’m going thru a bad bout of insomnia so far 2 days and nights, I guess I will be making a Dr. appt.
