    Cleaning ash from wood stove

    I also have a ussc stove model 1402 wood only, 30 yrs old with original blower motor, great stove. But it has a small ash drawer, needs to be emptied every 2 or 3 days

    It's sad when old growth trees die but it's good you get the firewood. Hope you have a log splitter. I have split 3 cords of oak by hand over the last couple of weeks, being retired helps ease the pain

    What kind of chainsaw you have?

    15 yr old husky 55 . Just cut down a 24" oak that was leaning over my barn, had to chain it to a tree in the opposite direction so it wouldn't fall on my barn. All went well and have more firewood for next year
