it is on 100% .......when I plow snow (still waiting this winter) I cover it with another piece of metal, otherwise it is the digger, scooper, and small tree remover:D:)

Mine stays on 100% of the time. Best investment I've put into my tractor. Completely changed the rules for the FEL!!!
Makes brushwork a breeze. Those cedars won't stand a chance. Even some larger trees are easy work!

Freezing ass here in Central Texas. But, UPS dropped off ordered Piranha Toothbar this morning. Installed in 30 mins. Beefy unit...could have used this the other day clearing small cedars around a old oak. Anyone keep this on fulltime?
I like it. But, I feel like I paid for it 3x for their other products that didn't perform as expected.

Mine hasn't been off since it and the tractor were new.
I think my first addition to the tractor were bucket hooks; and the PTB came shortly thereafter.

I teeter back and forth between getting one or not for my B2601. Seems like it’s a winner!

Never take mine off and only complaint is it rattles(vibrates) when tractor is at idle. Going to make me a small wedge to place between bucket and PTB to stop that.

Other than hooks on bucket so far my most useful upgrade, money well spent in my mind.

The only time that I remove mine is when I need to use my pallet forks. They make pallet fork attachments that fit on over the PTB but I bought my pallet forks before I bought the PTB, so my pallet forks won't fit with the PTB on.

I keep mine on full time. My field area is plagued with scrub they call field olives. Nasty things about 9 ft tall with spikes. The PTB does a great job ripping them out of the ground by the roots. I ether pile them to burn or if small enough just run them over with the brush hog. I do have to watch back on my trails in the woods though, I don't want to get in to anything worth saving back there.

No rattles and I check the mounting bolts at least bi monthly to make sure she is on tight. Nature has been doing my snow removal with the wind going parallel with the drive so no experience moving snow with it on.... yet. I need to get a set of bucket hooks next...

Ok I'm convinced that I need one. It'll probably have to be a few months before I place my order but once it goes on the list it usually happens.

I have an older ATI toothbar leftover from my BX23. It has approx 6 very heavy duty tines however it's only for a 4ft bucket. Was thinking of cutting it and adding some steel to lengthen it to fit the new machine. I'm wondering if a new PTB would be a better option?

The ATI bar that I have is bullet proof and is quite nasty when tearing into stuff.

I made one myself using the same design as the PTB. Mine is a direct bolt on since the B26 its on had the holes already in there for a wear edge. Its always on and don't ever plan to remove it. Decided to build my own since getting one shipped to Canada after the import fees and weak Canadian dollar was way too costly. Best improvement I made to the tractor so far.

ok....

gotta admit, i DID take it off this past weekend to scrap the driveway.

Hokie says to leave it on & just bacdrag with the flat of the bottom edge..

that worked ok for the loose snow.

after the wife had driven her jeep on it ? didnt work on that. less than 2 minutes with wrenches & it was off.

went out & actually scraped the concrete with the bucket & got it all clean, pulled in garage.. less than 3 mins to bolt it back on.

eazy peazy!

I showed my wife this thread and she said "oh, just get it" so I threw a tape measure on the bucket and placed my order!
