    Inflation change for loaded tires?

I could not see the max pressure figures on the sidewalls of these tires. The figures may be there but are awfully small if they are!

    Inflation change for loaded tires?

Maybe this is why salesman said to run 20 psi all around? I think I should follow the manual and go 22 for the front though because, as you say, the loader . . .

    Inflation change for loaded tires?

Thanks, but tell that to my owner's manual. It may "sound" too high, does to me too, but that's what it says.

    Inflation change for loaded tires?

Hi, am just getting down to basics with my new B2601. When I took delivery, I asked about tire pressure and the salesman said “20 psi all around.” This is close to what the owner's manual recommends on the front for my R14 hybrid tires: 22 psi for 23 X 8.50-12 R14T GOODYEAR SST Not even close...

Best way to grease zerk fittings

Since I posted that, I can't find the speed pedal zerk either. I am spraying it with lubricant as well.

Best way to grease zerk fittings

Thank for these details! I can't find in my owner's manual for my new B2601 the information on greasing the treadle pedal ("speed control pedal"). Under Every 50 Hours, it does list greasing the brake pedals and shows the zerk fitting; also the top link and lifting rod. That's it on the tractor...

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

Thanks, Tom. On this thread or another, someone talked about having to grind down a top link this way. Maddening that Kubota designs it so tight and that aftermarket makers do not warn you or adjust for this. Per this (your!) thread, I asked Heavy Hitch to make/sell a longer top link. They have...

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

Tom, I am taking this back to the beginning because I have a question about your Land Pride Quick Hitch 15. Now, you have got me seriously thinking about a Pat's system instead. But I have not decided. Everything I have gotten for the rear of my B2601 will work with the QH15. I may get a...

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

Thanks, Magicman. So you are pointed out than an option instead of getting a longer Cat 1 toplink, get bushings and a Cat 2, which is already longer? How likely is it a more chunky Cat 2 toplink will be slightly too wide in a B series connection at the tractor?

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

Tom, the Pat's lengthened your tractor's lower arms. I think by about 4". You probably need a longer top link now to compensate. I don't know what the sleeves are either. Have read one or two posts where Pat's users have said they didn't need to lengthen the top link. But most refer to needing...

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

QC supply looks to have Speeco top links in 3/4" bolt and HD 1", some very long, but they are expensive: https://www.qcsupply.com/370172-forged-top-links-3-4-24-29-39.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwpKCDBhBPEiwAFgBzj2zc3FFTAcYV01Rxh-Y20KH202Pi4ZlAIGnPpQmuL3HKG0ZU_diJbhoCZ0QQAvD_BwE

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

I looked up top links on TSC. Their regular CountyLine cat one is 28" but the extra long is 20" minimum and 32" maximum: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/countyline-adjustable-top-link-cat-1-extra-long?cm_vc=-10005 There was one review that said his snapped off under its first load...

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

I have the same question and meant to measure the one on my B2601 today. Heavy Hitch offers a nice looking top link that adjusts from 15.5 inches to 24". Is that long enough? https://heavyhitch.com/product/category-1-adjustable-top-link/

Yep, persuaders have always been necessary! Mine include a 6-foot 2x4 and a heavy steel spud bar and a heavy hammer.

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

This company's pto connection looks the same but they have one that fits BX and B series: https://www.tractoraddons.com/product-category/ptoconnect/

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

Looks great but my reading of their web info indicates you should make sure your model is compatible. From what I read, it appears the BX and B series are not compatible with this. They have a list, so check it against your model, whatever it is. And it'd be worth a call.

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

The Jiffy looks like a good product, from the video you shared, what they've got on YouTube, and their site. I wonder if that company is big enough to stay in the game, but their solution looks like it'd keep working even if they go away. Instead of bushings, you'd have to have a mount on each...

Pat's Quick Hitch vs LP QH15

Tom, I have a bad back too (two surgeries). It does load the back when you have to bend over and lean forward. Lately what has helped me is wearing a pair of great knee pads and getting on my knees. My wife bought them for something and they are a godsend. At my age, they really help me get up too.

RTA1250 Tiller Push Button PTO- LOVE/HATE

Project Farm did a comparision of penetrants, and good old Liquid Wrench came out on top. Wonder if it'd help on sticky buttons? The test was a bummer for me in a way because I just bought Kroll. On the pto shaft, I've always lubricated with quality grease and it works great. Grease would seem...

    Biggest Box Blade for B2601

For my new B2601 I got a Land Pride BB1560 box blade, which weighs 428 lbs. I would have gotten a 54" if I could have found one (and also that was heavy). Partly I wanted the box blade for rear ballast for the loader. I planned for it to stay on almost all the time. I've since gotten a Heavy...
