Kubota 4-Point Quick Connect Front Hitch

Just the blower. I have a rear blade. Works well. Shame there aren't more attachments for it, like maybe mini crane or grapple or even mini pallet forks or something. Tons of strength out there. No problem to lift the front end off the ground

Looking for some beginner tractor advice (B/LX + implements)

My BX is perfect for my needs,. I am in the Maritimes (Canada) and I have a front blower, mid mount mower and rear blade. I don't have a FEL (don't need it) because I only mow 2 acres and snowblow 225' of driveway + a small parking lot. I don't have a cab, as the wee beast won't fit inside my...

    BX23S Cab NO HEAT!!

I know this is another apples/oranges comment, but on my old VW diesels (I had 3 of them), I could idle that sucker all day long and never get a whole lot of heat, but once I had it running a minute or two and headed down the road, only THEN could I get heat out of it. Something about it being...

    BX Snowblower skid shoe height

for ref: this blower only has 3 holes on the skid shoes....very close together. The top hole might be (I'm guessing here a little) locating the edge 1/2" off the ground, the middle ~1/4" off the ground, and the bottom must be "just" touching the ground....but I can actually slip 4 pcs of paper...

    BX23S Cab NO HEAT!!

Are all the "holes" in your cab blocked off? IE: under the seat, the PTO and speed controls, all the pedals, etc,? I don't have a cab (always wanted one) but I 've read every post I can find on cabs and this is often a source of frustration for folks.....having a cab, but it's still relatively...

    BX Snowblower skid shoe height

Not new to snowblowers---have had 40yrs+ experience with them, but not on a tractor. BX2380 with BX2830 48" front commercial blower. 200' gravel driveway + 40x60 parking area +/- + some walkways/paths. I generally snowblow at aprox 3000rpm and in 4wd low range. So I started out the winter with...

Anyone else get excited about snow?

When I want to ride the Harley, I don't want snow. When it snows between 1am-5am, M-F, I don't want snow (who wants to get up early and snowblow for an hour so you can then drive to work? When it snows on the weekends; bring it on ! Someday I'll build a cab for the BX so I can snowblow in...

TG1860 - Drilling noise when trying to start

I second this. I have a set of booster cables I made from welding wire ~30yrs ago and I'd put them up against any big box store brand new cables any day of the week !

    Tractor Warm Up Question

From my BX manual. Seems I am not far off the mark, for winter use....I might be a little bit agressive for the summer. Although I am sure it's correct for some situations and tractors, there's no way in HE-double-hockey-sticks I have the patience to wait >30minutes as someone else posted...

    Tractor Warm Up Question

I am a new BX2380 tractor owner. (but have owned a TG1860 diesel for 16-17yrs) The tg1860 mower.....I start it at anywhere's between 10*C and 35*C, idle it out of the outdoor shed for maybe 1 minute and begin mowing. Just shy of 1000hrs on it. Runs strong. The Tractor.(21hrs on it) It's in...

    Hydraulic diverter on snowblower

Sounds sketchy. I had a similar-ish problem with mine, though mine is a new BX2380 with a BX2830 blower. About the 10th time I went to use the (electric) deflector, it wouldn't work. Why? The dealer techs had wired everything so friggin' tight, that when I put the blower in float (pushing the...

    3 point quick connect

the previous 2 posters are correct. You'll get 3 or 4 different answers. -Great ! -Not worth a damn -Meh, whatever -Takes a lot to modify all my equipment to fit the quick hitch. -Variations thereof. As always; it depends. For me, my implements are outside. I went from 10-20minutes of...

Looks like this one may be the real thing!

We must've got about a foot, maybe a little more. The high winds and drifting were the worst. Just did the driveway and got a little bogged down in some 3-4' drifts here and there. The BX2380 could've used a couple more HP I reckon, but it did its job. My homebrew drift cutters worked well...

Only Back wheels spin on 4WD kubota?

    Shoot deverter and rotation.

Well, shoot ! Glad it worked out for you. I have hydraulic rotation and electric chute up/down. Seems to work well.

Stupid Tractor Newbie question about snow depth

I am pretty new to tractors, but not snow...lots of experience with a large 45" walk-behind. (and many other smaller ones over the last ~5 decades) As long as you keep on top of it (no pun intended), (ie: next year), your tractor will blow pretty much anything you give it. 2 months worth at 3'...

New guy here...a few questions if you have a moment.

You seem awfully young to be riding a tractor that size . . . ;) j/k........welcome to the madness !

Mirrors on a BX, no FEL

I like the BX231 mirror setup. Had never seen anything like that. Just ordered 2 Gold Cart mirrors from amazon and will fab some uprights similar to those when they arrive. Thanks all !
