    Do you trust people?

MOST people are honest....but it only takes 1% of the population to sour you on the rest. Just about the time I am in "bah-humbug" mode, along will come some super nice person to restore my faith in humanity,

    Joys of new tractors

Is there one really weak guy or girl in the factory who maybe should be applying stickers or feather-dusting dirt off instead of (not) cranking down on hose clamps?

Original Tractor Cab for my Kubota BX23s. Install Video

Great video ! Looks like a nice cab. If you know, or have time, I'd be curious as to the height in inches. (from floor to the top of the black plastic roof) I have to lower my ROPS on my BX2380 to get in the garage, but that slightly lower type of cab might be doable. (my garage door is lower...

    Tire chain came off today.

I have very little experience with chains, but the few times I've done it, I've done as others have: -install in warm weather -jack up tractor (easier to spin tire)..take all pressure off tire) -air down tires to almost nothing (cpl of psi, so I don't accidently break the bead) -put chains on...

    BX snow removal suggestions.

that's awesome. Everyone tried to get me to get the biggest blower possible for my BX2380, but since my machine has slightly less power than yours, and since I blow a couple "paths" (and in between cars at times) a wide blower was not the best choice. I am so far pretty happy with my BX2830...

Put a 'Harley' horn on my 'BX

Was bored so yesterday I started this install. Took a leftover horn from my old Harley Davidson Road King (works fine, but I replaced it last year...now collecting dust) and put it up under the hood by the right front headlight. No wiring. Just put it there to see if it'd melt. Snowblowed...

Is that a BX2830 blower? Reason I ask, is I've never seen another one besides mine. Details online are scarce !

Impeller housing; Snowblower, now bare metal-paint?

I've had my brand new front mount snowblower on my BX out only 4 times (works great !) however the first couple times I chucked a lot of rocks on unfrozen ground. The impeller housing is now virtually devoid of orange paint. Besides telling me not to chuck rocks(lol), what do you guys...

    ROPS too tall

My ROPS are too tall to drive in the garage, so what I do, is always, always, always, back the tractor in. That way, at least I am looking backwards and there is a CHANCE I'll notice the ROPS are up ! (if I drove it in, nose first, I'd have to remember they're up....at least this way, I am...

Choosing between using walk behind snowblower vs BX1880 FEL

Same sorta situation as you in EASTVermont........The first snowfall I did with the front blower.....big mistake ! ...all I did was chuck rocks. Second snowfall did 95% with the back blade facing the wrong way round (like buttering bread) as was described earlier. Ahhhhhhhhh, much better...

    Almost lost reverse!-Knob issue ;-)

BX2380 w/ ~11 hrs on it. Was trying out my back blade in the winter for the very first time. Almost lost reverse. Would barely barely move in reverse. Then I realized the pedal didn't seem to move back as far as usual and that maybe it was a linkage issue. How would I back it into the garage...

    BX snow removal suggestions.

p.s.- I'd love to have your driveway. I'd put on a smaller rear blade, do the rubber strip the previous poster talked about and maybe even do a rubber strip on your FEL. If none of that worked, then buy a 4' wide rear pto blower to supplement and Bob's yer mudders brudder.

    BX snow removal suggestions.

My very large, "walk-behind", 45" cut, dual wheeled, MTD blower, is, I think, 13HP and it does a great job. The weak point isn't the blower itself(it'll chuck snow 40' in some conditions), but the drive. I wear out friction wheels all the time. It's also a bit of a beast to wrestle on uneven...

    BX snow removal suggestions.

On my BX2380 I have the BX2830 (not a typo) front blower. Works well. Also, the RB1560 rear blade. 250' long, wide-ish gravel driveway with a couple tiny "parking lots" and paths here and there. Works well. Only downside was the front blower def ain't cheap. My #1 choice in your...
