85 Hokie....I have to fold down my ROPS to get into the low garage, otherwise, great idea ! I'll go back and add this to my original post. Thanks

Mirrors on a BX, no FEL

Anyone ever put mirrors on a BX2380 (or similar) but did NOT have the FEL arms to mount them to? I was snowblowing(front mounted) the other day and came a bit too close to backing into one of the cars (a few feet) and thought....OK, I was too lazy to turn around that one time and sorta lost...

New gear, snowblower lowers too fast

I can't speak to the OP's machine, but on mine, which I *believe* is the same as most BX owners...(from the odd thread I've read on the subject-no other in-person experience locally) if I push forward on the lever, the SB drops.....if I pull back, the SB raises. If I push WAY forward, the SB...

New gear, snowblower lowers too fast

Same. BX2380 with BX2830 48" commercial blower. I have a gravel driveway, so build up a snow/ice base and therefore don't really notice the "bang", nor is it an issue, until I lay it down in the concrete garage (or the other night on my neighbours ashphalt/pavement driveway.) Ka-bang ! It...

Anyone put a BX with loader in a Shelter Logic Tent

In NB Canada, most of them won't survive one winter unless you are religious in cleaning the snowload off them. That and insure they are weighted to the ground REALLY good. By really good, I don't mean 4 cinder blocks or 6 buckets of sand..... I got one from somebody who left the door open one...

    Need advice-again

Sell the 19...the older car has more soul. The 19 is worth something RIGHT NOW, but next month, who knows. Could be worth $10k less as chips come off the assembly line and dealership lots begin filling up again. A guy at work just traded in a 2013 Kia 4dr sedan (I forget the model) with...

Put a 'Harley' horn on my 'BX

For $20 it's hard to go wrong. This is what I replaced the Harley's horn with. They measured within about 3dB of one another with a proper measuring device I use at work. The newer Fiamm had the edge, so that went on the 'bike and the old Harley horn went on the BX. This link is for...

    Back blade and gravel drive.

Excellent work Bill. Very utilitarian and basic. (the best kind of engineering most of the time) I appreciate the extra details. I zoomed in but couldn't make it out. I have similar wheels here just mounted to a pc of plywood that I used for a little "trolley" one time, but it never gets...

    Back blade and gravel drive.

Looks good!! I was thinking of doing something like that for my front snowblower for spring/fall. How exactly do you adjust? (is it a pin or screw thread?) - close up of one wheel would be appreciated. Well done.

    Snowblower l2195a rotation issues

Thanks for the reference to GP Outdoors. I've watched most of his videos but had missed this one. I didn't make note, but it was a very early one. Maybe #15? Easy to find. Go to youtube and search his channel itself for the word Chute. I even learned a thing or two from reading the comments...

    Roll and Drag Setting

I don't know how different my BX2380 (or TG1860) is from your B2501, but as described by Ruger1980 is how it works for me. I had no idea it's adjustable on a B........you should probably verify that.

Going to motorize my snowblower chute

On my BX2830 snowblower the "wiper motor"(or whatever it is) is hooked to the deflector on the side....even though technically the shop could've attached it in the center quite easily, as there already bracketry there if I had gone hydraulic.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

They came with the blower...which is a model BX2830......I am in Canada (if that matters) They still dig up gravel like mad if the ground is not frozen.

First time blowing snow with a BX2916 and BX4090 Cab

My snowblower was really loud too until the first time I used it in the snow. Seemed to quiet down after that,. I get a little driveline noise also, the farther "up" I pull it off the ground. I think leveraddict might be onto something re: the cover near the battery--do you have one? Most...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Snowblowed ! (-9*C and 40km/h winds) (that's actually my neighbours house across the street and I am about 1/2-way down my 225' driveway when I took that picture. Not seen is a 40' x 40' or something "parking lot" and a few paths to outbuildings I do also.
