Why do people post questions just to have us guess? We're not all psychics or dentists here. Please don't make it harder for us to help you! Tell us clearly what machine, engine, model # etc. it is you are referencing for best results.

Everyone should own a good multimeter and be trained to use it correctly. It removes pretty much all doubt and guesswork.

My ~22-23 yr old TG1860 (3 cyl diesel) will pretty much NOT start (at any time of year) w/o glow plugs. I run it at "fast idle' for a couple minutes to get things warm before use. All normal. (at least to me)
