Thank you. I also own a "real" Mini too. 10' 1/2" long and iirc, 56" wide....it looks downright miniSCULE next to it's 2 younger brothers. And the more recent MINIs are fairly small cars.
G'Day
I didn't take it as critical. I just stopped for a photo-op paying no attention to blower angle or direction.
I had only snowblowed a few feet at that point and took the photo while still in motion.
Up here, I am often fighting the wind and so I am constantly adjusting angles and...
BX2380.
In 4WD 90% of the time.
REar tires are chained. 100% of the time.
MMM & front blower
Summer, winter, whatever.
Only when I know I'll be on tarmac or doing long runs on my hard packed gravel driveway, do I take it out of 4WD
3rd year - no issues.
2 related questions:
#1 - Can you drill down, 24-30" (for example)_bolt on an extension and keep on drilling?
Secondly, if it gets stuck on rocks, is there any way to manhandle it back out?
I have very rocky ground and our frost line goes down probably 4' or so and wish to drill some holes...
<This is a recording>............snowblowed for the umpteenth time @ O-Dark-Thirty. - LOL
25cms/10" of fairly light but slightly drifted white stuff.
Starting to hail/freezing rain/ice pellet when I was finishing up. (feels great on the face/eyeballs in 30km/h-20mph winds!) <not>
Weird, as it...

Also, you don't say what your plowing setup is.
Is it a FEL with added blade?
Is it a Quick connect with blade?
Something else?
I have ~400lbs out back of my BX2380 and with the FEL on it's fine.
In the winter I snowblow with a BX2830 and use no rear weight, but do lose steering just...
There is one way to check to see if your alternator has failed.
Measure battery voltage with tractor OFF. You should see probably 12.6-12.8V (give/take a wee bit)
Start tractor. Make sure revs are up fairly well.
MEasure voltage at battery.
You should see 13.8-14.1V (give/take)

Jay, IIRC, there is a snowblower, snowplow and brush/rotary broom. (at least for the BX K-connect system).
I imagine for the 'LX is similar.
Obviously the 'plow wouldn't need the driveshaft/pto connected.
Only the blower and broom/brush
Your test light actually measures voltage not current.
Putting the test light on ground and touching grounded surfaces (and seeing light) makes no sense whatsoever my friend.
Do you own a multimeter>?
The normal modus operandi would be to put your negative lead to ground and your positive lead...
p.s.- you're starting to get a little bit close to the 3-pt lifting limits with the larger blower also.
Myself I'd go for the smaller (and lighter) blower. A bunch of heavy wet snow on the blower (and packed in the blower) will sure be pushing those limits over time, as PTO (hp) drops and the...
Depends on how much snow you get and how much time you'll think you'll save with another 14" of mouth width of blower opening.
. 19.5hp @ the PTO is not much to work with when you get a foot of heavy wet snow and your blowers opening is huge.
I'm no expert but it SEEMS like the 1064 is geared...
