    50hr service-BX-*AFTER* replacing hydraulic fluid...

Well, as I said in another post (you may/may not have seen it) I am old enough to have grown up with Imperial/SAE measurements before we "went metric" so I often think in both units, though some make more sense to me now after 40+ years or whatever as metric.....ie: When I think about...

    50hr service-BX-*AFTER* replacing hydraulic fluid...

IT's complicated, but yes, it's TINY. I think about 15.25' x 16'....plus I have tools, junk, motorcycle -AND- my tractor in there. On the plus side...the floor *IS* heated. Best thing I ever did. Negative side. No room to work. (except on my bike) I could pull a small car in, but no room...

    50hr service-BX-*AFTER* replacing hydraulic fluid...

I only just got the WSM last night (and don't have it with me to study) I gave the 50hr service a quick look and didn't see anything around what to do AFTER the filter and fluid was replaced. The only reason I ask is that I saw recently on BIFFS EQUIPMENT youtube channel, he started his BX in...

    50Hr service-BX2380-which manual is right?

Thanks FEllas ! I already bought the fluid and 2 filters (engine oil and hydraulics both) to the tune of $142.00 CDN (wow!) I think I'll just go ahead and change it. Appreciate you all weighing in.

    50Hr service-BX2380-which manual is right?

BX2380....going to do my 50hr service soon, although I am <ahem> a 'little' over those hours ;-) re: transmission fluid (hydraulic) Operators manual says to change it: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just got the WSM for this a couple...

L295DT wont start, white smoke, video

I can tell you're trying and asking most of the right questions. There is very little need to remove all the GP's and apply voltage to them on the bench to see if they're working. I can think of 3 separate ways to know if they are all working w/o removing even one of them but you need to know...

L295DT wont start, white smoke, video

I don't know your tractor specifically, so take this with a grain of salt. GP's are generally wired in parallel, so to do an Ohmmeter check on them, you'll need to unhook the (copper?) busbar, otherwise you're measuring them "all at once...." , which can tell you very little" Could be you are...

    Pallet Forks

Like others, the Land Pride PFL1242 have been great for my wee 'BX. Can't believe how useful PF's are. I doubt I'll ever buy a grapple (not as much for trees on my property compared to others, though I do have some around the entire perimeter) but the PF's do most everything the bucket will do...

Kubota Seat Weight Limit Fudged Enough For Me

LOL, pool noodles - ingenious. (too bad about your warranty) :ROFLMAO: I do it a little differently. I have a zippered foam "seat pad" with cover. The common type any car store or hardware store would sell you for the drivers seat in your dd car - > THEN, I add inside that a very large...

Broken grease fitting with broken extractor

Another vote for using more curse words. (seriously---I'll change my vote to weld a nut on, and THEN curse words) ;-)

Kubota L47 intellipanel reads in metric measures

I only meant it as a lighthearted joke. I am old enough to know Imperial measurements very well. Somewhere in my childhood, Canada switched to the Metric system, so I kinda know both and even today decades later, some things are still sold or measured in both systems ! I hope you can solve your...

    Lown Performance Grill Guards/Customer Service

"... Dealing with Canada is a pain the ass. ..." I agree - and I'm in Canada!!! You'd think the USA and Canada were on opposite sides of the globe. I am not defending Paul & Kathy whatsoever but I imagine the trouble was not you or the actual shipping costs, but all the (very real) hassle of...

    Lown Performance Grill Guards/Customer Service

Both guards look great!! It kills me to order stuff from the states or even overseas and UPS be the only method of shipping. Most times I will just go without rather than getting raked over the coals and robbed.

Kubota K Connect Snowblower problems explained.

Right--I didn't specifically say it, but I too, have it raised slightly when backing up. My driveway is only 225' long, but sorta shaped like a "T" . Has an odd shaped parking lot section near the house. It's also a mix of various gravels and I chuck a LOT of rocks...especially out near the...

Kubota K Connect Snowblower problems explained.

How strange. . I removed my BX2830 (yes, that's the real model #) from my BX2380 today and the couplings look nearly new. I probably have close to 50hours on just the blower over 3 very long NB winters. For the data miners: I engage just above idle, then ramp up the RPM's when I'm ready to...

mower height adjustment stuck on bx2380

Are you turning it clockwise? IIRC (I stand to be corrected), you have to turn it clockwise (even if you want the grass cut lower...you go clockwise, then come back around to 1, 2, 3 etc.) at least that's the way it is on my TG1860 (which I do 95% of my mowing with) and I think I recall the...
