    Daily Chuckle

Can't we keep "Daily Chuckle" just the "Daily Chuckle" w/o inserting a lot of stray comments/left/right/political/hate/whatever into it? Please keep it light fellas. (and ladies) Thank you for all the chuckles !

    Customer Survey Fail

I get a similar Kubota survey what seems like every 6-8 months. (maybe it's because I keep buying implements?) I gave the dealer good marks on the initial tractor purchase, but then 6-8months later, get another survey. WTF? How many times do I need to appease the Kubota survey monster machine...

Tractor won’t start with new battery

If you just installed a new battery (why?) and now the tractor is dead there are a number of possible causes. Alternator not recharging the battery? (but first you'd need to get it started and then use a voltmeter to look for more than resting voltage (typ 13.8-14.1) at the battery terminals...

    B2920 no start issue?

I may have missed it...(I didn't read every single post) .but you say starter (solenoid) won't even click. Have you used a voltmeter at various points to see if you're even getting voltage there in the first place? If yes, then start suspecting components/connections.

    T1760 clicks but won't turn

This certainly doesn't look "great". Might not be the issue, but if you had the capability to cut back and reinstall a fresh lug, that might be an easy thing to try. I'm not holding it in my hand and seeing it up close so I am not certain if I am looking at good ol' dirt, or some green (here...

    4X4 Indicator

Wow- yes, I see exactly what you're talking about. I'd have to stop the machine and try to bend over to get a real good look at that (probably putting on my bifocals in the process-LOL) It's way easier on my minimachine (BX2380) to merely glance down to the right and see in an instant whether...

    B2920 no start issue?

You say battery was tested. H-O-W did you test it? Visually? DC Voltmeter? Load Tester? (heater element type) - - other? Some other method? Until they get a large current load on them, you can never (with great confidence) know how they'll react when you are asking for max current (GP's then...

    B2920 no start issue?

I love that picture Dave. Smile every time I see it. It probably looks about like 25-30% of the OP's who post "it won't start" threads. (present OP excluded I hope)

    4X4 Indicator

I know because of what I am about to write and my personal writing style it may very well come off as sounding sarcastic, but I am telling you that I am NOT writing it with that frame of mind. On all my cars and bikes, they are standard transmissions. There are no lights on the dashes (or...

    New forks...

Ditto on the drill. Nice fabrication. I am pleased to see that you're not aided by Bud Light ! ;-0 LOL I toured the Miller factory in Milwaukee one time. Great place. Wait--this post was about forks. (how did I get off track so quickly?)

    T1760 clicks but won't turn

Sounds to me you were given poor advice (sorry) and I personally would've checked BOTH ENDS of both battery cables. I bet it's a poor ground (or the like) Don't just look at it. Clean it. Could also be an internally corroded battery wire.

    BX2350 Crank, No Start

OK. Yes, well , you need fuel for sure (and air, so check for mouse nests in the air filter housing) If you;re good with a multimeter and you understand series/parallel, someone (maybe even me) can walk you through checking the glow plugs (GP's) I don't know your specific machine, but more...

    BX2350 Crank, No Start

Henro had a good reply and I'll just add (ask is more like it) : Are you running the glow plugs at all? Some diesels are VERY stubborn and just won't fire up at all, at least without some amount of glowing. (DON't USE ETHER !) Related question...if you indeed *ARE* glowing it, for, say, 20-30...

    1st service?

p.s.- to all this. Good advice given to getting everything ready ahead of time. I had 2 drain pans I could choose from for the hydraulic oil. One was about 1.5L too small. (that would've been a BIG mess) and the other pan was about 1.5" too wide to fit between the rear tires underneath the...

    1st service?

Hey J I think your 23S is different than my 2380. The (hydraulic drain plug socket size was 1&1/16ths* which made it also a 26.9mm I believe. ((I wish I could recall exactly, which socket I used for the OP))...I just know it was not 1".....I am glad I did a test fit before actual go time. A...

    1st service?

I am sure I saved myself many hundreds of dollars doing it myself. I read the manual, watched a few youtube videos. If you've ever changed oil in a car, you can do the 50hr service. Only you can answer if it can be done or not. On mine, I had to buy a funky sized socket for the hydraulic oil...
