Do you get a OL when the thermocouple is unplugged? that would indicate an open connection somewhere. If so maybe an intermittent connection in the end terminal or at the sensing end that opens when heated.

    Ford Lightning all Electric Truck

And if all the emergency vehicles responding were electric too? How a bout the plows if electric, if there is more snow than anticipated and not enough charge for them to do the route.

    Back blade and gravel drive.

Nice job on the wheels! I see most of you do nice work including finish painting. I need to sandblast and paint my blade for sure! I could spend a week or two doing several pieces around here. Bill

    Back blade and gravel drive.

The picture makes it look crooked but it isn't. I plumbed it both ways when I welded it. Bill

Found it but can't get a wrench on it!

A lot of truth there Lugbolt! I have worked on a lot of german made machinery and always seemed like they wanted you to take a lot of things apart to change something simple. I once heated and bent an 8mm allen wrench so I could get into the throat of an extruder to change an oil seal with 4...

    Back blade and gravel drive.

Thank you, If I remember later I will get a picture. But they have spacers on the pivot shaft. you move them from top to bottom of the mount. there is 1/2", 1", and 1-1/2" approx so I can raise it about 3" total. I welded the mounts on with the blade leveled and with no spacers and wheels...

    Back blade and gravel drive.

I have a 300' plus drive and put down some more stone this year. Bought it from the same place but it seems larger and not packing down as good. I usually plow with a front blade on the 8N but tried a while back and until it freezes more it was moving a lot of stone to the sides. I had this...

6 inch bucket for Kubota BH77 backhoe

Thanks Boakley! You describe better than me what I was trying to say about the digging style. While I have used and owned backhoes over 25 years I never had any formal training. I had an old 70's Long I bought used but turned out to be junk. I figure this time I wanted new and smaller for what...

6 inch bucket for Kubota BH77 backhoe

I made a small bucket to do some electric for my generator install. It is about 7" wide if I remember right. I have to take the thumb off if deeper than about 16-18 but it worked well for my purposes. I added a pivoting piece in the back that gets pulled with a chain when i dump that is hooked...

    L2501 Modifications

I worked in plastic monofilament industry. We used a lot of j type along with the K. In extrusion the operators would let a TC wire get into the quench water and do what I described as the 2 wires had braided insulation too not thermoplastic.. I would guess yours has the thermoplastic wire...

2005 Kubota M6800 Shuttle transmission operation

That lever on the left sounds like the one on my L2501DT which is a manual transmission model if that is any help. Definitely clutch required. It has the 4 speed shifter in the center hump.

    L2501 Modifications

One thing about that style thermocouple. It has a braided outer jacket and with some the conductors are braided too. Many have a plastic insulation but it depends on application. It only takes it getting braided style wet or pinched between the 2 conductors and you have a cold junction. that...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I have been adding a couple of brackets for swivel wheels from an old finishing mower to my back blade for the same reason. Ordered a couple 10" new tire wheels from Zoro that should be here wednesday to replace the originals that were dry rotted. I hope to be able to raise it up a couple inches...

    Replacement Wireless Router - Netgear

I did a shooting to my phone answering machine when I was on call. It was a 24/7 operation and I was on call monday to monday every 5 week. They would call my home instead of the company cell and I would be out and drive all the way home to find a message needing to come back to town to work...

    Motor Oil

I noticed it was several other things too. Toilet paper cycling in supply along with paper products in general. We usually get dog food at TSC. Several times lately low or out of canned, bags and biscuits. we are trying to stay a little ahead on that now, not hording but not waiting till we need...

    L series Backhoe worth getting?

I'm 68 and figure my machine with backhoe will let me continue to do what I am doing now till I am 81 and beyond. Maybe that is the reason for a lot of us, it makes work play! When the wind put that tree on the neighbors house 2 weeks ago, the toy made the difference for me and a 79 yo. Bill

    Root rake grapple

That is kinda how I use my tractor overall, I don't abuse it. I bought a grapple mostly for the handling of material, not rip and tear till failure. I expect it to be really handy for my own firewood I cut.
