    So you've seen big trees.....

I've got a Water Oak on my Property (front yard) that is 18' in circumference. Been there a pretty long time. But a mere 'toothpick' compared to some of the Old Growth trees felled in the PNW years ago.

OK you Americans: the super pig is coming

That would shoot through several pigs. (y) Even my 458 SOCOM will do that. I load up a 540 gr. hardcast bullet for it. ;) They will shoot through as many pigs as you can get 'lined up'. I've never recovered one of these bullets. I don't know where they stop! I guess when they hit magma.

    Pin on loader pins

Some have handles that pivot out of the way, but the pins also would not be grease-able. Q/A would be nice.

OK you Americans: the super pig is coming

Couldn't agree more on both points. And I am certainly not saying that there are not good and responsible hunters out there (from all points on the globe). But for the average Land Owner (not running a hunting lease) it isn't worth taking a chance on strangers....just to remove a few pigs...

What there are....is 'waivers'. Does NOT prevent someone from suing you. Only makes your chances of winning the case better in court.

OK you Americans: the super pig is coming

Actually, if we need anyone to 'help' us we won't have to have anyone 'come down'. There are plenty people 'in state' that would do it. The trouble is, many of the folks so graciously volunteering to 'help' the hapless landowner's don't seem to know how to close a gate, stay on the roads (not...

OK you Americans: the super pig is coming

Good, because we are overrun with Feral Hogs. I've been battling them on my property for over 30 years. If you want a little insight to what that entails.....I keep a small thread going here: https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/not-again-feral-hog-control-in-east-texas.449721/...

BX2350: just installed a Kubota Engine Block heater; how long can I leave it on without burning the element?

Sounds good. In the end....you'll find out what works for you. Your title suggests you are concerned with 'burning out' the heater element, but the thread ultimately addressed the most 'efficient' run time. With respect to longevity of the heater: It is a Direct Resistance Element (no...

    Help I.D. hydraulic connector please.

Decided against the hose. It will be simple enough to see a pressure gauge when hooked to the loader valve. So just ordered the connector and a 5k psi pressure gauge. That way I can keep the gauge in my toolbox on the tractor.

    Help I.D. hydraulic connector please.

Yeah, saw the Pioneer brand logo on it....but these old eyes missed any part number. But looking now...does show something (though still hard to read). Pioneer (4010) Probably a 3P ? So I'm guessing I would need this female connector on the end of the hose...

    Help I.D. hydraulic connector please.

I am wanting to purchase a ready made pressure gauge to check my hydraulic pressure and have found one with a handy hose extension. However....I am not sure what size/type the connectors are on my tractor (1996 Kubota L2350DT). Does anyone know what they are? I know I will need to order the...

    Pressure Washer question

You might be able to use a 275 gallon 'tote' as a water supply. At 4 gpm it would provide a bit over an hours power washing time (at PW full capacity). Used 'totes' typically sell for $75.00-$100.00 in my area. If you have a place to fill with fresh water and something that will transport that...

I am going to put one on my Wife's LX after I do a few things to my Land Cruiser. 'Iron Man' makes one for my LX470: And here is one for your LX570: https://ironman4x4america.com/exterior/premium-off-road-bumper-suited-for-2008-11-toyota-200-series-land-cruiser-lexus-lx570/ Might be the...

Yep, won't be inexpensive to fix. My 'Laundry Fairy' hit one (a Doe) last year with her LX470 at only 50 mph and it was over $3,000 to replace the front bumper, fog light and a bracket underneath.

Domestic pigs will revert to a more feral condition over a few generations in the wild (an escaped domestic will always keep its appearance for its lifetime). While there are a 'few' preserves with pure bred 'Russian' boars/swine, they are few and far between (in the U.S.) Most feral/wild hogs...
