What does everyone collect or do for a hobby?

No longer being produced....I am pretty sure. They are a specialty 'hunting round'. I would not recommend them for home/self defense. I use 00 or #1 'Buckshot' in my home defense shotgun. I simply shot some Dixie Tri-Ball out of that shotgun because it has an extremely thick barrel and is...

Very Smart.....I like it! Going to employ the same concept to mine. Looking forward to seeing your finished product. Thank You for the idea. (y) Flint.

What does everyone collect or do for a hobby?

^^^^^ Agreed. I can shoot my .338 Win Mag pretty much all day, not too much worse for wear. But a couple of 'Dixie Tri-Ball' from my Defensive Shotgun will give me a near permanent 'flinch'.

If you come up with a workable pole saw mount of some type, please share it here. I use my pole-saw more than anything else and would love to be able to tote it on the tractor.

Chainsaw brackets are handy aren't they. I like where you have yours mounted. Normally, I carry just a small saw in mine, but they will support a fairly large saw...as evidenced by your application. I like it. (y)

^^^^^ Same for me. IF you have a tractor with a 'Flat' Fender then a regular tool box works well and also makes a dandy arm rest.

What does everyone collect or do for a hobby?

Had a couple of older Lever Actions (back in the 70's) that I used to Deer Hunt with (just for the nostalgia). Wish I'd kept the Model 71. A bit much for Central Texas Deer....but fun to shoot.

    Kubota L3710 dip stick location?

No twist, just pull it out, the rubber 'knob' acts like a stopper (interference fit) to seal the opening. It is purposely small and tucked away....so as not to snag on anything and be pulled out.

Washing the Tractor. Hood Open, or Hood Closed?

Sometimes. Good to get the panels off, clean them. Clean the engine compartment, radiator and pre-screen. Wash everything off real well at least once a year. Other times just give her a rinsing after use (if dusty or muddy). 27 years old this year (recent photos). Take care of your...

Advice before I open LA 1150 boom arm cylinders

^^^^^ Nonsense. Air is compressible, hydraulic fluid is not. If the seals blew out....it was because they were the wrong seals or improperly installed. Just cycle the boom and bucket....it will purge the air just fine.

    Tractor was stolen, starter question

Surprised the thief didn't just use a 'Key', would have been much easier. Keys for most model lines and years of production are typically all the same.

What RPM's should a Kubota B8200 engine Idle

My 3 cyl L2350Dt idles at about 700-800 rpm...but doesn't 'smooth out' until about 1100 rpm and the 'Sweet Spot' is between 1800-2000 rpm when running.

    Mole Purge

Yep, we have two Dachshunds and they are pure hell on gophers and moles. For that matter....even our Calico Cat gets some of them.

Need help with the "accessory electrical outlet"

Its a two pin plug....so logically a hot and a ground. Probe them with a test light and see if that is the case.

    Hunting and game posts

That IS a 'stout' one. I was hog hunting one night and had this big Tom come slinking through. Pretty good cat for my area.

    Hunting and game posts

They will occasionally find and kill a fawn. Also 'capable' of taking yearling deer....as seen here. Where I live (Deep East Texas) we have tons of Bobcat. But I believe 'most' of their diet consists of Rats/Mice, Squirrels, Rabbit and Birds. Though certainly...they are opportunistic and...

Knowing what you know now, would you buy the same tractor again?

Well.....mine is 27 yrs. old. So probably would buy something newer. ;)

    Alernator pricing, choosing

Robert....at this juncture you'll want to determine whether your issue is 'parasitic drain' (something continuing to draw current with ignition switch off/short to ground) OR simply a bad battery (or both). I would begin by removing the battery, fully charging it, let it rest several hours and...

    PTO

Regardless the Clutch type....dig post holes SLOWLY. Be ready to lift the PHD if necessary and/or disengage the PTO. Otherwise you risk 'Sticking' your auger.
