I wasn't very impressed with my BX mechanical thumb the one time I've tried it so far. Trying to pick up a section of foundation wall out of the hole, thumb/bucket kept slipping off. I ended up having to turn around and fight it into the loader and move it that way. What doesn't on these things?

Well, the bucket is just a temporary attachment. Not permanent. Even the loader arms are just an attachment for most tractors, unless you have something very large? Basically it's a tractor with the ability to carry front implements. You may want to clarify that with them. Get pallet forks or...

Picked up the second part of my post hole auger. Doing it in pieces so it's a little easier on the wallet. First piece was my pallet forks. This mounts to it. Saved $300 this way (SA10 with the SSQA mount is $800 more but I could have had it with a $500 discount when I bought the tractor.)...
