I would try to go to Kubota.com, look up the illustrated parts list for the L2850 and find the side panel you are looking for. Write down the part number, then go to Messick's (parts) and look up the part number to see how much a new one would run. I was surprised by how reasonable the bonnet...

I assume that you mean it is behind the seat base somewhere. I will look closely around the seat base with the seat folded up but I have never noticed anything like what you describe on my tractor. The tractor has been painted before I got it so perhaps it is just covered over with paint...

I picked up the ROPS for my L185F yesterday. It seems that the same model ROPS is supposed to fit the L175, L185,... L245 series. The crate that is was shipped in was huge! It would not fit in the back of my Nissan Frontier truck. I don't even think it would have fit into a standard truck...
