Im sure that normal would be different for different people and the conditions they were operating in. 1500 hrs sitting and idling is much different than 1500 hrs of hard pushing in wet sloppy mud. I used to own an 864 bobcat and it needed tracks at 800 hrs. I never had issues with the rollers...
Gravity feeding simply would eliminate the possibility of a bad fuel pump. If you have uninhibited fuel flow either way, and your injector pump isnt pumping, then theres a clog in it or have an air lock. You mention spitting, Id think get your lines on, crack them at the injectors and get the...
Yes I was aware of the range choices. It done that in third high on the road and in second low while working. I do realize that 30 + or - hp isnt enough power to go up good sized hills without downshifting. Pretty much the same with my TC33D also, which is worse yet. I expected that, but didnt...
Likely metric fittings on the unit and the coil. Maybe find correct fittings at a hardware store and cut your lineset , change fittings, and then reflare the lines. Do keep the lines squeaky clean though.
Thank you all for your advice. I will certainly check out that seat switch next time Im there and also look for water in the filter. I appreciate your hrlp.
I didnt even consider the possibility it could be a seat switch. But then Im not sure how they function on a Kubota. I was sitting farther ahead in the seat than normal as I didnt care to adjust it for just one use by me.
I did notice though, that I could leave it in a range and dismount...
Ive planted a couple hundred trees with an auger. Not barr root seedlings, but potted trees. It works well and goes fast. The part that takes time is laying out the locations for the holes. I think for your chestnuts where you need to spread the roots it’d sure beat shoveling.
Its rather easy to not have to see what the delivery driver looks like, just dont order anything, or pick it up and deliver it yourself. Otherwise maybe ask for your preferred carrier to handle it. Just dont bitch when the vendor asks for a premium.
My son just bought an ‘08 L3240HSTC used with approx 370 hrs.
His first job for it required moving it about 5-6 miles, doing 1/2 hr of loader work then coming back home.
He had the trailer full with what was to be lifted so I volunteered to drive the tractor while he took the trailer there...
If you’re mowing after broadcasting seed, how can you avoid blowing the seed out of the area? I have never tried that strategy, but am interested in the details.
I quit going to auctions for heavy equipment years ago. Dealers frequent the larger ones and I generally strike up a conversation with them. Most tell me they wish they could get those sorts of prices on their lots. So deals are few and far between. Much better strategy for me has been to find...
Likely need to go thru the pump again and make sure the o-rings are ok. And do be sure everything is squeaky clean. If a problem shows up immediately after doing something , there’s a good chance they’re related.
Is your fuel supply gravity fed? It may be a supply issue or could even be that your pump isnt rotating. Maybe a key on the gear sheared. You need to diagnose it farther.
Id drain the oil, put some in a glass jug and see if it seperates. If it doesnt it has to be something petroleum based being added. If diesel fuel its likely coming through the seals on the injector pump drive gear shaft.
Re: Is the sky falling?
Just the normal cold viruses kill many times more peole every year. So why get so wound up over this one, when the others dont even make the back page? Seems like somebody wants to herd people for some reason.
