HELP!! I bought b8200 hyd pump for b7100 and it does NOT FIT!

Correct. 67810-76100 is a left hand pump. It works with the later B8200 gear drive. The early direct drive B8200, the B7100, etc. used a right hand pump (eg: 67111-76103 ).

What is special about Stihl ZAT 4 ignition tester? Chainsaw problem

Spark under compression requires higher voltage than spark in free air. So it is possible to have a false positive when checking for spark by taking the plug out. Testers that check for current with the plug installed under compression are less prone to false positives. I believe the Stihl...

Tractor stuck in a failed shop.

The only provinces I'm aware of that require registration of a tractor are Nova Scotia and Newfoundland (but only if driven on a road). Manitoba (which has public vehicle insurance tied to the registration) used to require registration of tractors, however, I believe that requirement was...

Tractor stuck in a failed shop.

Step 1: Edit your above post (click "Edit" just below it) and munge your e-mail address! (eg: type it as something like "chris underscore killian at live dot ca"). Better yet, remove it completely, sharing it only by the Private Message function of this board if necessary to share it with a...

B7100D hydraulics and adding a FEL

The early B7100s did not have the diverter block. So as Wolfman said, the covers I have won't work. i thought "early" was earlier than 1981 though.

    That was really bad

True, can't really see the dips that deviate from the average. And once it starts sliding due to a dip it's going to keep sliding even after the slope eases a bit. Anyway, glad to hear you managed to make it out unscathed. Someone with less experience may not have, so it's good that you shared...

    That was really bad

Well that's certainly steeper than it appeared to me! Lack of depth perception i guess. I would have figured 10' or maybe 15' rise over 100' or 150' from the photo. Anyway to rig a gate (or even a bungee cord) to that lever to ensure it stays in 4wd?

    That was really bad

The picture is facing back the way you came? I can find it hard to judge slopes from pictures, but that doesn't look especially steep to me. What sort of grade are we talking here?

    Mini (Micro?)-Ex at Princess Auto

The manual on PA's website indicates there are certain accessories available, but they are not listed under either "Accessories" or "Parts" tabs on the webpage. Looking closely at that video and comparing to the PA listing, they are not the same machines. PA version is missing the side teeth...

Well he certainly didn't read the part about "trenching only"! <lol> Mind you, his came with a thumb. The PA verson only seems to have a mount for a thumb. The PA version also comes with the aux hydraulic connections, which really sends a mixed message about the limitations on use!

Why does my Kubota B7200 HST go slow forward but fast in reverse?

To expand on Wolfman's comment: On the B7100 there is a bolt with locknut on the pedal arm. The WSM has a procedure to adjust the balance between forward and reverse speeds by jacking the rear wheels off the ground, setting engine RPM to 2800 and adjusting the bolt so rear wheels turn +/- 70 rpm...

Broken casting on BH 77 excavator

Disclaimer: I have a different model Kubota backhoe, so this may not apply. But in MY Kubota BH manual there is a large bold CAUTION notice clearly stating the swing lock should be engaged while driving around: I'd read the manual carefully before calling the dealer.

B7100 Pilot Bushing Help - Grinding Gears

Shifting straight cut gears while in motion is simple -- in theory. All you have to do is match the engine rpm to the required transmission rpm for the desired gear ratio. EG: let us say that you are rolling along in 1st gear at 2500 rpm. And let us say that if that particular vehicle was in...

    RESOLVED Distribution Block Question

No problem. If you have a factory service manual for the tractor, it's possible that Kubota documented the required block dimensions in the manual. They did for the B7100, which I used to create the blocks I supply for that family of models. (see...

    RESOLVED Distribution Block Question

Looking at the diagrams for the L2350F, the LA450S and the two part numbers all on the Kubota Canada site, I would say what you need is 75541-68110. Which is handy, since the second part number is listed as "No Longer Available". That said, the price listed for the one I think you want is...

I finally figured out a use for independent brakes (and "cruise control")

Cruise on the B7100 is not that sophisticated. It's just a mechanical linkage and cam that holds down the hydrostat pedal. No connection to the brakes whatsoever.

I finally figured out a use for independent brakes (and "cruise control")

I know the tractor has these features and I did play with them once or twice. i proved the tractor could turn much tighter in 2wd if I stomped on the inside rear brake and I could lock the go-pedal in forward for a long drive down the road but for my usage they weren't really called for and were...
