    Reviving a G5200

Good catch with all those parts. I do believe I tried to buy this same tractor but you beat me by a few hours according to the owner. Good deal.

Craftsman dozer blade on the G5200

Funny you said get stuck. I did get stuck yesterday when I had large tree root get between my front tire and anti scalp wheel of my deck. So far that's been the only time. I'm filling in a low spot with yard debris and that root was at the top of a low spot I'm filling. Marked it and moved on.

Craftsman dozer blade on the G5200

Built an chain box tonight to help the weight of the front end. I'll try it tomorrow to see how much more ballast I need to add. Yes, it's an old ammo can.

Craftsman dozer blade on the G5200

Bits and pieces and a lot of geometry. It works. Now to clean up the rest of it and paint the blade orange. Next I'm going to find all the same parts again and make a sleeve hitch for the rear. Funnest part of this is trying to build and re-engineer something so I can remove and install it as...

Craftsman dozer blade on the G5200

Took me long enough to start this project but now it's about finished. The goal was to make all the Craftsman parts work with as little as possible modifications to those parts while keeping the deck on too. Just use the same geometry and install in different positions. Works great so far now i...

    G1900 Hydraulic Systems Not Functioning

What he said up there. Yokes, pump, or fluid. "If its' the trans end yoke, pray to the Kubota Gods that it didn't hurt the trans splines"

    G1900 Hydraulic Systems Not Functioning

Looks like you don't have the flexible disk on your drive shaft after all. More like my T1600. Could be the splines wore out on your front yoke or the key at your hydro is bad. If you rear universal goes out it can take out the pump. We're there any other abnormal sounds from the pump? Check...

    G1900 Hydraulic Systems Not Functioning

If its like my G5200 the flex disk on the drive (if it has one) could have broken. That makes a BIG rattle though. Check the hst fluid too.

    Engine oil in transmission, L185

Water in that transmission isn't that easy to get out sometimes. It WILl foam up and expand and WILL want to come out everywhere. Happened to me. Had water in it, cleared it out, the vent was stopped up up. Get it hot, let it settle then drain the case, the axles drains, and clean the filter...

G6200 PTO belt wearing out quickly

Don't run any kevlar pto belts. They will slip, burn, shred, and fail. (My experience others may differ) Run cogged rubber V belts only. I had the same problem with eating up/ burning up belts even after I replaced everything that spun. Now I run clogged V belts and they have been on the T1600...
