kubota tg1860g, engine dies when pto is engaged,PTO works when deck is removed. pulleys all good, belts good, mower has 41 hrs on it, sat for a few year, cleaned fuel system twice.
some times if I keep pulling and pushing the PTO on and off it will eventually turn the blades and cut grass, whats the fixSometimes and electric pto can appear to be good without a load on it, meaning it will spin free without a deck belt around it. Then when you put it under load it wont work at all and can kill the engine.
how about a diagram of the PTO, can I take it apart and fix it, the PTO is trying to engage the electrical part is working something is locking up the mechanical part?is mower pto belt routed correctly ??
attached is a page from the parts list showing the correct routing.

no the PTO engages when the deck is off, when deck is onand PTO is engaged it kills the the engine, solenoid is engagingDo you mean when you engage the pto it loads the engine up so bad that it dies or is it a electrical issue such as a safety switch?
