They look good. I put the same thing on the front of mine....but I wasn't sure what the rears were on yours.

Should serve you well.

I run the same on my little "B". Great in the snow, on soft ground and pulling out of the woods. They do tend to trench the lawn on the steep uphill but, it's better than sliding off into the brush at a nasty angle.
Mine are not so pretty and the rims are not Kubota orange.

I'm being optimistic and took the blower off and put the loader back on. Before I put the blower away I cleaned it off and greased all of the fittings. It's all good for next winter.

Spent a few hours Sunday moving snow on some of my two track trails leading to the tractor shed.

Today went back and greased the loader and did a general quick clean up on the loader and the rest of the sheet metal. Amazes me how far black grease will migrate from the grease zirks, including myself! lol. Now that I jumped in with some Milwaukee M18 battery operated tools, (pruning saw and blower) I think a power grease gun is next.

I use a manual wheelchair which keeps me away from my habitat project when there is a lot of snow. Now that spring is getting closer everyday its good to be back working and enjoying lunch on the place.

I use M18 platform and as far as the grease gun, it exceeded my expectation. It’s not cheap but it is very helpful if using by yourself IMO.

I started blocking up the firewood I pulled out last fall. This will be 2024/25 firewood.

23_3_25-1.JPG

I used to cut off the pile. This is slower but easier on my back.

23_3_25-2.JPG

Ran out of gas. This is where I carry the saw gas and bar oil.

23_3_25-3.JPG

Second tank same as the first.

23_3_25-4.JPG

Two tanks enough to say I got started.

Had a dead pine about 90’ from the house son and his fiancé live in. That was a problem being it was a bit over 100’ tall.

It was weighted toward the house, leaning toward the house, and nowhere to drop it other than on the road toward the house unless we took out several other good sized trees. That and I’m not a fan of pulling really hard to change the throw of dead pine because if you pull too hard sometimes they just break and then no telling what part of it is going where. All things considered it just needed to come down in two pieces.

I used to climb for a tree service back in the day but that was 35 years ago and I hated climbing dead pine with thick, unreliable bark then, much less now. So it was either rent a spider lift or call the man. Never used a tree service before but the son of an old friend has run a tree service about 25 years so I called him to see if he would just blow the top out of it and leave it laying. Agreed if he could stop by whenever he was in the area with his bucket truck anyway and had a little extra time he’d stop by and do it for about what it would have cost to rent a lift.

Didn’t see him do it, so I have no idea how he got a bucket truck down the switchback road to it without taking out at least a couple of adjacent sourwoods but he did. Then to the cleanup. 4 people, 1 saw, 1 L4701 with grapple and chipper, 3 hours after work and it was like it was never there (except for the stump).

My brother borrowed my stump grinder a few months ago to take out a couple of stumps at his place that kind of morphed into a couple dozen at his place. He’ll bring it with him when we see him at Easter, so I’ll take out the stump shortly.

I’m planning on taking snowblower off this weekend also.

Extended forecast is favorable and I need to do some driveway regrading while things are a little damp but not soft.

We got a foot April 19 last year. Work shut down 2 days, power out at home almost 4.

I usually have driveway work done by then. Had just added 15 yards of crusher run. Wasn’t good….😳

As silly as it sounds I used the front plow to pull the snow banks back into the driveway. That black and white snow has a lot of gravel in it and will melt faster when spread out.
Captain Obvious informed that if I did not plow so much of the lawn and gravel off to the banks it would be easier in the spring. She laughed her ass off and walked back in the house. Jokes on here as I used the blower to move stone and covered my pants and sweat shirt with mud.

Yesterday afternoon I took the snowplow and the K Connect off of the tractor and removed the weight box. This morning I woke up to find the driveway covered with snow!

What the!?!? My local Tractor Supply DOES NOT sell metric tools! Do they discriminate against Orange tractors, or is this just a one-off thing? I live in N. FL and I just need a larger box wrench than any I have and the first place I went to was TS and discovered this.

I broke in my new 1880 I brought home this morning. Been using a walk behind snow blower past few years. My old bones can’t handle my long driveway anymore. Have some serious large snow piles to move with all the snow we got this year. This 1880 worked fantastic doing a little snow moving after work. Will hit it hard this weekend. Wish I got this machine years ago.

for just a one piece you may have luck with harbor freight, not the highest quality but you won’t feel bad if you snap it on a stubborn bolt. I honestly never even knew tsc had tools like that. Usually just get bird food and pins for the 3pt from there.

Wednesday (and well into the night) sewer line repair. 6" terracotta completely plugged with grease, (3) toothbrushes, rags, panties, (2) balls, razor and lastly, another companies broken snake. Turns out their snake totally shredded the terracotta. Really nasty pipe full.

Dig:

Yuck: anyone need some "white grease"?

That "thing" sitting on the street pictured in front of the tracks is the broken snake wound with rags we found about 3 feet from the main.
