No. It's incorrectly optioned for what you wanted. All makes will throw a code if you remove seatbelts. Even my kids VW had an airbag light come on when I replaced the seat belt because it became hard to release.
My comment was somewhat sarcastic but true. I did a little digging. We have some SDs in our fleet that came without rear seats. They are the Super Cab and have no rear seat. In their place are utility boxes installed by the upfitter. You probably have to go through commercial sales to get the rear seat delete option.
For the key in ignition chime, you can probably use Forscan or pull the wire out. On the diesel forum someone found it is a blue / white tracer wire in the plug on the left side of the steering column. I'll see if I can find the post.
