I feel like a dummy for not having some fuel on hand. The LX is full and I have about 3 gallons. I think by tomorrow evening I will have made some changes.
There is absolutely no need to panic hoard diesel fuel!I feel like a dummy for not having some fuel on hand. The LX is full and I have about 3 gallons. I think by tomorrow evening I will have made some changes.
Your nuckin futs, get a real lifeAlways panic and hoard until you lean.
During the TP shortage I was selling it. My wife had reoccurring sams club delivers for TP since about 2017. When the plandemic kicked off we had several case shoved in the guest bedroom, those cases had 4 big packs in them. Cases were $20 or $25, sold the packs for $20.
Same thing with the lumber shortage. Every time I would buy something bulky from lowes I would buy 2 or 3 2x4 to use as dunage they were usually $2 to $3. Had about 50 of them and sold them for $7 each to a builder when they were $9 at the store.
I wasn't planning on building anything for a while.
I think everyone should hord diesel, cause a shortage and it will be another screw up on the never ending list of screw ups under this administration.
Truck stops on Interstates are always high. Diesel at regular stations are much less. See the current prices in my area:At the truck stop over road diesel was 6.29 yesterday
Let me guess you're one of the unprepared people who horded toilet paper @ $20 a pack or went out and bought a ton of 2x4s for $9 each that you still haven't used?Your nuckin futs, get a real life
Ya some just gotta nuck those futs, eh?Your nuckin futs, get a real life
Ya think? There is absolutely no need to panic hoard diesel fuel!

The diesel market is in a perfect storm as prices surge, supply dwindles ahead of winter (msn.com)
Pipelines might have helped but not allowed to build such things here in the US.
Nonsense. There are 190,000 miles of fuel pipelines in the US lower 48:Ya think?

Where are the Pipelines?
More than 190,000 miles of liquid petroleum pipelines traverse the United States. They connect producing areas to refineries and chemical plants while delivering the products American consumers and businesses need. Pipelines are safe, efficient and, because most are buried, largely unseen. They...www.api.org
ZERO! Who do we thank for this mess?Hence "might."
How many are being built today?
They are building another one five miles from where I live. Depends on your state government permitting process. And right of way access (the big issue).Hence "might."
