If I told you guys, I'd have to kill you both.... there's certain secrets a cook keeps to himself.....🤣😊

Honestly, just used the screwdriver to tighten up a pan lid..😉

Didn't realize it was in the pic until after I posted it...should have had my glasses on...🤓
I figured that was the reason. But couldn't pass up an opportunity like that 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Looking good Guys.

For supper tonight I got a floured tortilla, some sauce, cheddar cheese (no mozzarella), and diced ham.

Six minutes in the air fryer and I had myself a pizza. Pretty DanG good.

I think they've changed the package to fool the customer. That can looks bigger than I remember from long ago, but I think they've always had seven 'sausages'. 'Course they're probably smaller or have more fillers, if that's possible.
Dad used to send me out to work with a water jug and lunch - can of vienna's, saltine crackers and a Coke. Maybe a chunk of cheese. Wouldn't see another person 'til dark.

I love Vienna Sausages. Have for a long, long time.

Heck, where I came from, I thought they were a European Delicacy...:)

Never saw one minus the "pivot" one in the middle.

That's the first one out for me...;)

Homemade sausages:

Pork with apple, onion, paragon, and savignon blanc

Chicken with sun dried tomato, basil. and sauvignon blanc,

Beef with garlic, rosemary, and merlot.

Getting ready for Australia Day with the missus and the kids, and whatever other local Aussies decide to show up. Got a bit of homebrew to go along with this, so gonna have a fun time. We've sampled all three, so know exactly what to expect because they'll be even better on the barby (that's a griddle in Alabama, the flat steel kinda grill).

I was inspired by Daren’s pot roast pictures. I had carrots, potatoes, parsnips, onions from the garden stored in the basement, chuck roast in the freezer, and was scrounging for a can of beef broth, and the supposed magic ingredient, some red wine. Well I’m not a wine drinker, and occasionally stash some away in case I need to take a bottle somewhere. These are generally selected by the attractiveness of the label. Found a bottle of cherry wine made in the UP of MIchigan. A trial sip tasted like the fruity taste would go well. Made a fabulous contribution to the pot roast jus. Melt in your mouth tender and the veggies were so tasty. Tried drinking some of the wine, and it gave new meaning to the term rot gut. Or I just don’t like red wine!

Looks good!!!

Pot of chili tonight with corn bread. Was 37 and rainy earlier. Currently 33 and snowing 🤬🤬🤬 I want some comfort food 😁😁😁😁

Got 7lbs of country ribs rubbed with some Bad Byron's. Gonna let them sit tonight in the fridge. And fire up the smoker in the morning. Gonna smoke them with mesquite fire wood for 4 hours. Then into the oven doctored with some cider vinegar and sweet baby rays 😁😁😁😁😁

Daren - when I left the house this morning it was cold. Warmed up a lot by the time I got back.

I did find Rotella T6 5w-40 at Walmart. $25 with tax. Been looking a while.

Even at -6 at the time, was tickled to get the Rotella. Was also looking for buttermilk, but WM doesn’t carry that

I'm surprised WM didn't have buttermilk. Every grocery store around here carries it as well as target.

Yeah, same here. I don’t go there often.

While I didn’t get buttermilk or chicken/turkey hot sausage I was looking for, I did find Shell Rotella T6 5w-40. Gallon was ~$25 with tax.

I’d been looking for T6 5w-40 for a long while.

I hate Walmart, but they had what they needed today.

I hate Walmart. But since we moved, there is one about 3/4 of a mile from the house. Bloody convenient when your in the middle of cooking something and realize your short on an ingredient.

Next closest grocery store is about a 4 mile drive. But takes anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes to get too between traffic and lights.
