Yep. I just get the coleslaw mix though and just chop it up some more. The wraps don’t look like much to make, seems pretty time consuming though.

Crawfish/shrimp rolls I use an etouffee like filling.

Big Red Soup and homemade bread.

Sheepfarmer- you might like this one. Very simple and good

We often use leftover grilled beef or venison….don’t even have to brown it. It can be spicy, or not depending on the salsa. We use medium salsa now, so it’s not spicy much.

I am still trying to figure that out. That can above had 7 sausages and so did his. His brand with the "missing link" was Libbys. The actual can was the right size. Dunno ??
Libby's are the "Cadillacs" of Vienna Sausages. Armour not so much...

My Vienna Sausages were an off-brand...Bradford? Just like Libby's IMHO.

At $0.47/can, I'm careful that my food-spend is for a quality product...;)

Trust me, after 50+ years of eating VS, I consider myself almost an expert....🤓

Ford -

Was never exposed to them until my restaurant days. Those were in cream sauce (?). Couldn’t choke them down.

I loved canned sardines in a sandwich, just plain with oil, not mustard or tomato….and salt cod in the wooden box.

Some other favorites are/were SPAM (still like that), and Potted Meat Food Product ((Lord only knows what’s in that).

I used to hunt for puff balls in the pastures. Loved those things. My grandmother would fry in butter….damn…😀

We had a good patch of wild leeks in a pasture too.

Could get a good bunch of raspberries, blackberries and wild strawberries too.

Just had to wash the cow shit off the stuff you got in the pastures, unless you ate it on the spot…..🤔

Being a poor farmer wasn’t all bad…..

I went out with my uncle C to his garden once. He picked off a couple of tomatoes, pulled his knife out of one pocket and a salt shaker out of the other.
Same uncle - Dad said they were out bird (quail) hunting one time and the dog pointed. When the birds flushed, they lit in a tree, so uncle C shot them out of the tree.

I hosted a shoot & dinner on Saturday afternoon/evening and did a leg of lamb on the Traeger. It was absolutely incredible. I stabbed the leg about a dozen times, stuffed sliced garlic and fresh rosemary into the holes, rubbed the outside with crushed garlic, olive oil and seasoning and spritzed with fresh lemon juice. 30 minutes at 500F followed by an hour or so at 350F until the temperature probe indicated 130F at the core. About as easy as it gets for an incredible dinner. Served with red/white skins on mashed potatoes with grated cheese, with an onion, pepper (red and yellow), mushroom and pea stir fry and a mixed berry parfait with vanilla honey yogurt and fresh cream for dessert. :p Everyone's already asking when we can do it again!

Hambone soup tonight, tomorrow, and.... New Year's Day hambone plus all of the veggies that you see; potato, noodles, spaghetti, corn, peas, butterbeans, diced tomato, celery, carrot, and maybe more that I can't see. That plus yellow cornbread.
