Well it is finished, (everything dried quick due to the summer like temps today)
with the exception of a couple of tidbits....
Need a new spring (or spring setup) for the dump latch, decides to dump while being towed :(,
and I need to get a second tire so they match. Both are Carlise Turf Savers
but the old original is a RS.

The tractor does turn tighter than the tongue allows, may fix that in the future or live with it.

I did add two zerk fittings for the hinge part of the axle when it pivots to dump, and two set screws to hold the axle in place on the tongue

A nice addition to the collection of implements, this winter I will
do some work on my BrushHog mower.

Nice wagon. My boom pole paid for itself again today. I used it to lay the 'hog down then found the balance point with chain, lifted it up and laid three skids on cinder blocks and let'er down. With the forecast this week I might get'er done by the weekend.

I am so jealous! Great job!
And refering to my earlier post:
You're embarrassing the rest of us.
I meant the rest of us whose trailers still look like your "before" picture.:D

Amazing weather we're having so my "helper" and I laid on a couple coats of red yesterday.

Today I added a weather proof cover for the access hole and gilded the lily a tad while waiting for other parts to dry.

Just have to reassemble it, put on the safety stickers and we're good to go. I'm going back to welding class next month and I want to fabricate a chain guard for the front. :D

Got to play with my home made land plane, graded out my driveway and neighbors, then our private road, that's about 3/8's of a mile. Came out great and works fantastic for a couple hundred bucks worth of metal and Kubota orange paint

Gotta love cell phone sideways pics

Yesterday I rolled the Brush Hog mower into the shop, my "winter" project to pretty it up.

Got a few nice dents to fix up, But first to remove all the external bits,

Left with the blades and gearbox to "attempt" to remove, could never get those blade bolts busted loose.

Today I started to attempt the blade bolt removal,

I work at the County and approached the lead mechanic about borrowing a 1" pneumatic impact and socket.
Not a problem, but I needed a 1/2" air coupler, all mine are 3/8", so I left without that.

But I did get a can of Open and Shut rust buster, they swear by it.

Well in the past NOTHING has worked, but I'll Be Go To Hell if this stuff DID'NT WORK :)
And saved me cutting off and replacing $40 worth of bolts. So blades and blade pan off.

Now I am just left with the blade bar, which is also rusted tight.
Sprayed and apply pressure as best I can with the puller I have and hope for the best.

Tomorrow I will see what kind of opullers may be available to borrow from work.

GOT IT OFF !!! :):):)
Took a bit of heat, I hate doing that, metal is made and destroyed by heat.

Smooth sailing from here on,

remove the gearbox

Left with a shell to clean and re-paint

Already have all the new decals  (not specific to the actual year, but this is not a restoration !!

Where do you get that Open & Shut from? I want to try some of that. I googled it but could not find a store listed that sells it around me.

The ID tag on the gearbox has been painted over,

removed it and cleaned it along with the main ID tag, with new rivets
(did not bother trying to remove the paint from the embossed characters)

Drained the gearoil

Some ugly looking oil

Now it is time to get to cleaning and painting :D

That oil looks like it has water emulsified in it.
