I can see them being rusted shut from the inside if the nipple isn't 100% welded to the rim. water gets in,round and round, rust forms, oopsy.....

Not a fan of rotty nipples...And then if you don’t take them off for a long time, they are rusted shut. Our payloaders and skidder had them and if you didn’t keep the never seez on them, they could be virtually impossible to get off at times.

Sounds like Never Seez and a pipe wrench solves that problem! (Along with some preventive maintenance).And then if you don’t take them off for a long time, they are rusted shut. The LX I had previously also had them. Dumb place to save a couple bucks.That's strange. I have them on my B2650.
