Last July on a quiet sunny day we had a power failure when a couple of trees decided it was time to fall. They broke the hot wire on top and came to rest on the ground wire which held. The power crew cut the trees in random short lengths and left them on the side of the road. I finally went out to pick them up yesterday. I needed them out of the way for fall mowing.

The ratty Hop-Hornbeam or locally Ironwood is in the right side of the trailer the rest is Red Maple.

Since I had to move it, I thought that I might as well bring it home - 1/2 mile down the road - and run it through the wood stove.

Me too. But he didn't have a chain brake.... ?

I hope that if it made a scar, it is badass looking and your wife likes it.
I have a collection of old Homelites that I exercise from time to time. That days project was to clear the trails, just some light work so I chose one of the old saws however that large dead cherry was too tempting to pass up.

I need to get back to the plastic surgeon, he wanted to wait a year before doing a final tuneup. He did suggest that I make up a story about my sword fight.

Your story needs to star with...”You should see the other guy...”

That sounds very serious. I appologize for making light jokes about it. Hope it all works out very well.

Be well. Tractor on. Be safe. Heal well.

Moseyed on up to the dealer this morning to see what in the actual heck was going on.

Being that my wrenches have been put down for almost a month now, I walk right to the back into their shop and find an all too familiar scene. They too lost BOTH of their best techs this month. And they got tractors EVERYWHERE!

I didn't have the heart to stomp around with my feathers ruffled and raise any cain, just told the shop manager to take their time, i'll be just fine, although i probably wont LOL.

Headed on out to the beverage store to gather some needed supplies for me and the wifey this weekend. Get home and exactly 32 minutes ago received a claim settlement letter from KTAC.

Reckon I did a number on the ole girl.... $6500 worth of damage!

Saw this bad girl while i was up there. The almighty M6S-111. What a beauty!

Dug this small rock out of the shooting range, it stuck up just enuf that I hit it with my mower. Could not lift it so I had to pull it with a chain and rolled it on top of another rock I will not be moving.

@BBFarmer , It maybe time for a new Service Manager or otherwise and have the owner pay better wages at the dealer!

Looks like they are worked hard until they quit.

Maybe it is time to be a tractor mechanic and not a driver?
No sir LOL! That is for sure unchartered territory.

I couldn't consciously play with peoples money like that.

I would be nothing but a parts changer in that field. I don't possess the knowledge to properly fulfil that title like some of y'all.

Used the L3901DT to fill in behind out retaining wall. I used a shovel to take the dirt out of the bucket and spread the dirt. Got about half of it done. The wall is 150' long.

About to embark upon a journey into the unknown. I have to lift roughly 500 pounds of stairs, perhaps more.
image.jpg

I’m currently rebuilding the deck I built 7 years ago because of several failures of Yellawood PT lumber, despite doing everything I could to preserve it.

I have loaded tires on my LX with 1200 pounds lift capacity (approximately). I have no clue what this flight is going to weigh, but I daresay it’s less than the wet PT lumber did 7 years ago. I put that up single handedly with a 2 ton ratchet winch and destroyed the winch in the process. Im hoping it will be a little lighter and I can lift it with the LX. Yall stay tuned. “Hol’ muh beer and watchiss!”
But the end result may be well worth the wait. Doing a lot of things differently that should extend the lifespan of this rebuild.
