The camera came from Amazon https://www.amazon.ca/Magnetic-Sola..._bap_m_grid_dv_rp_hxwhrp_sspa_mw_bia_0_4_cp_i

There is also a mounting bracket to put on the forks for the camera. I'll work on that tomorrow. @Gaspasser
I'm liking the looks of that! Well done sir!

I did a 5 acre 3-hour mowing job yesterday afternoon, and then dropped the tractor, cutter and trailer off at my friend's place on the river about 3 miles away from where I was working. I plan on cutting his 12 acres this afternoon so no point in hauling all of the equipment home last night.

The "new" F-450 and 30ft Kaufman trailer are a game changer for me. I can't stress enough how much better of a towing experience it is compared to the modified 22ft PJ I used last year with the '02 F-250. It's a cliche to say this, but the F-450 is such an amazing truck, and 20,000 lb of stuff behind it almost goes unnoticed.

I sold the PJ deckover tilt trailer last week and will not miss it one bit.

Nice scenery @McMXi How long are you at bumper to bumper? I'm gonna guess 52-55'.

I jumped the L5460 and couple days ago for the first time with the F350 SRW and my 20' tilt deck. I didn't even feel it back there. The downside is I bought that trailer for the LX this spring. Went from a 16' landscape trailer to the tiltdeck. Wish i went with a 24' trailer now.

Took a spin out to the new wharf. Every piece of stone made about a 90 mile truck ride to fill this in.

The truck is 22.2 ft long according to Ford, and the trailer is 30 ft (25 ft wood and 5 ft ramps) but actually measures about 6" longer than that. The unknown is the distance between the tailgate and front of the trailer but I'm going to say at least 4 ft, so 56 ft would be close to actual.

I understand your situation with trailer length. The M6060 and RC3712 are by far the most challenging load that I need to move around, and that's why I ended up with the F-450 and 30ft gooseneck. One thing I noticed right away is that the folding cutter, tractor and trailer need to be lined up really well prior to backing on. It's not cool trying to adjust the position of the cutter on the deck with the tractor wheels on the ramps!

I have two options re position and I think that having the tractor over the axles is the way to go. The cutter is around 4,000 lb but the tractor is closer to 10,000 lb so that distribution makes the most sense in terms of tongue weight.

Overall though, I have zero regrets with this set up and probably couldn't find a significantly better truck and trailer combination. If there is a downside it's that my '02 F-250 won't be able to pull or move the Kaufman since I have the DECKED drawer system in the bed. This would only be significant if I had to haul something during the winter. The F-450 is never going to see road salt.
