What should it be? I can't seem to figure out the proper pressure for it.
Try cutting vertically with chain saw to split the stump in half and then quarters. Do your best to keep chain out of dirt/rocks. Then concentrate on removing one quarter at a time. Or make friends with someone with an excavator. Good luck.

I did cut some more with the chainsaw to make it easier to maneuver except it kinda killed the saw 🥹 I think the tree grew on top of a dirt pile and so it has stones that you couldn't see and chainsaw blades don't fair well against rocks haha.

I can't believe, but I got that big ol' stump out!!!!

It took me a week worth of digging with a shovel, swinging an axe and using a wrecking bar. The tractor couldn't lift it very well but once I removed most the dirt from the stump I was able to move and lift it a little with the bucket. I never dug out a stump this big before.

it's so satisfying to get it out after all this work.

Smoothed out the area after, need to get some clean fill but I need get a couple more drainage pipes to finish extending the drainage line from the house and then top soil it all and seed some of it. Part of it's gonna be my parking area from of the tractor attachments. Going to relocate my shed to somewhere in here at some point.

Things are looking better each time!
Round these parts that'll get you a good ole "atta-boy" followed by a firm hand shake.

And I mean FIRM!..... we don't throw a man dead fish around here. LOL

Nice job!

Haha thanks! I feel proud of myself. I've dug up small stumps in the past but having a tractor sure makes it easier.

Sunday went to the land and did my 200 hour maintenance on the L2501.

Knock on wood , only problems I have had so far with the tractor is the right hand side tie rod end falling off within yards of taking delivery. I had about 20 or so hours when the curl function linkage fell off for the loader control valve. Both issues could be traced back to dealer set up and/or loader assembly.

Other than those two issues the tractor has preformed as intended.

Today spent time with my B7100hst over at my neighbors house. I have removed snow for them for 23 years now and being a gravel driveway gravel does end up pushed off to the sides.

He really needs a load of gravel brought in but with limited tools, just a back blade, I was able to drag that gravel up and fill in some low spots etc.

N.Y,
Moving 20 tons of 0 to 1 gravel. That RTV sure can't cary much at a time, 1/2 scoop and it's bottomed out. Preparing a base for a 10 x 20 shed but the front yard is too soft for a dump truck so had it dumped in the driveway and moving it around the back of the house with my RTV. Have to pick up a plate compactor to pack it with. Another one of those simple one day jobs that turns into 2 weeks when naps are included 😃. Ignore the other orange thing that snuck in the pics 🫣.

I have to ask, if the rtv only carries 1/2 a scoop, and the tractor carries 1 scoop, why not just tractor it over there? Wet ground, maybe? Good luck with the project!

Same here.

When I retired last year, I was told by someone I had the toughest handshake they had ever encountered.

Maybe I should dial it back for 80-year-old women.....

Just joking - - - it was a very fit adult male younger than me.

They never learned how to shake hands, and you look them in the eye....

Tractor weights 2 1/2 times what the rtv weights empty. Weight in the bucket extended past the front tractor tires leaves deep ruts in our soft still damp ground. The rtv makes less damage as long as I don't use the same tracks twice. We have the next lot up that would have gotten it closer on solid ground but the telephone and cable lines are sagged so low the truck couldn't use that entrance.

You can air those front tires up, put a load in the bucket with no rear ballast, and get pretty good compaction.

Yea you know what I mean.

They'll just lay their cold frail hand out at a weak delicate limpy sorta angle......And that's the one I grab the hardest and try to fold in half! LOL

But I don't usually get to do that. We have a high school and large community college right by us. Kids come in throughout the day needing stuff. They spook easy. You can't come at them all friendly like with your hand out.

You'd literally be better off getting their number and y'all just text back and forth silently while standing there.

Can't effectively communicate.

DEFINITELY aint makin eye contact because their eyes will never leave their dang phone!

But that will skip generations because of guys like us. I check my 15 year olds handshake often. Then we get into a squeezing match. I joke with him and tell him I know 90% about you soon as I get ahold of that hand LOL.

Didn't use the Kubota today, decided it would as time to get the Cub Cadet zero turn out of storage. I remove the battery during winter and keep it in the shop. I cleaned the terminals, applied some dielectric grease and hooked it up. Checked the oil - a little low but good enough to run, still very clean. Couple slow cranks and then it fired right up. Man I love that Kawasaki FR651V engine. It's been super reliable.

The battery is a little low from sitting for 6 months. The tiny info screen says it's charging at 13.8v so that's good. I let it run for a while while I checked the air essures and greased all fittings. Checked the belt and blades..all good.

Mowed the lawn! It was kinda nice to smell that fresh cut grass but I'll be honest it was so nice out, I wish I was out hiking instead of mowing.

I got the echo weed trimmer out..bought it new last spring. It's a good one, it's one of their x-series models. Pulled it slow a couple times after priming and one pull...started right up and was ready to get to work. I love the speed head on it, takes 20 seconds to add new trimmer line.

Anyways that was my day. The Kubota needs to be washed though, it's dirty! I got keep my reputation here as the clean tractor guy!

Have a good week y'all.
