What should it be? I can't seem to figure out the proper pressure for it.
Try cutting vertically with chain saw to split the stump in half and then quarters. Do your best to keep chain out of dirt/rocks. Then concentrate on removing one quarter at a time. Or make friends with someone with an excavator. Good luck.

I did cut some more with the chainsaw to make it easier to maneuver except it kinda killed the saw 🥹 I think the tree grew on top of a dirt pile and so it has stones that you couldn't see and chainsaw blades don't fair well against rocks haha.

I can't believe, but I got that big ol' stump out!!!!

It took me a week worth of digging with a shovel, swinging an axe and using a wrecking bar. The tractor couldn't lift it very well but once I removed most the dirt from the stump I was able to move and lift it a little with the bucket. I never dug out a stump this big before.

it's so satisfying to get it out after all this work.

Smoothed out the area after, need to get some clean fill but I need get a couple more drainage pipes to finish extending the drainage line from the house and then top soil it all and seed some of it. Part of it's gonna be my parking area from of the tractor attachments. Going to relocate my shed to somewhere in here at some point.

Things are looking better each time!
Round these parts that'll get you a good ole "atta-boy" followed by a firm hand shake.

And I mean FIRM!..... we don't throw a man dead fish around here. LOL

Nice job!

Haha thanks! I feel proud of myself. I've dug up small stumps in the past but having a tractor sure makes it easier.
