I like your price per gallon! I paid $3/gallon of dyed diesel yesterday but only got 52 gallons. I have another JohnDow 106 gallon tank so I'm more than good for diesel storage.

Filled up my 50gal tank the other day for $2.99/gal for cherry flavored here in Georgia. On road is $3.59-3.79 depending on the store.

I added 450ml of Stanadyne to the storage tank before filling, and probably poured 100ml of the stuff everywhere but in the tank.

Thanks, I grew up with hunting dogs (dad and grandpa has coon hounds and beagles…my first dog was a pointing lab), but we started getting GSDs for general home protection. They are great…the ones we get are wired a little differently IMO.

Regarding the Ford, I’ll have you know it’s work shop jewelry (the cheap kind). As far as the Ford I have only had actual possession for just a couple months. I have not used it for any actual work. It’s just been starting / running properly for about 3 weeks.

When I have work to do the MX takes the mound. When I have chores to do, the B takes over. Ford is still usable but I would not use it in place of the MX. it gives me something to put around with instead of the emissions laden Mx though. I plan to pull the wagon with it when doing wood and maybe a carry all if I need a spare to go into the woods (it does have a pretty good LP mower, but I suspect that will end up on the B at some point). I actually think it would/could pull my plow all day long or even drag a log. But the MX is way more comfortable and safer. It’s just a putter around machine for me and it came with some implements and a trailer. It may have Christmas lights on it at some point….then you will be correct (you are just a little early).

Put the bucket on and cleaned up the pile of ash left from my burn pile. Spread a bit of topsoil over the area to level it off and called it a day.

I've never owned Vevor tanks but have looked at lots of photos of them. The components that Vevor use don't appear to be of the same quality as those used by JD. I'd rather support a US company that has been in business for decades and that makes a quality product rather than a Chinese conglomerate who makes a clone of a quality product but comes up short (in my opinion).

A couple of yt channels i watch have/had Vevor tanks and they weren't fond of them because of their poor quality. I'd sooner pay more up front once for a reliable product.

Lol. Yep, this is this tanks first fill since I got it. Dumped in a shock treatment dose of bio kleen and diesel clear or something like that for water. As well as changing the spin on filter and adding a golden rod water block cartridge. Hopefully the common rail stays happy.

it pisses me off when you guys brag.

Gas is 4.75-6 bucks out here…and they passed some new rules that will add about a buck a gallon on top of that. Oh, the air board is voting this week to change the rules on refineries…two already closed and two more said they will…so a quarter of capacity will be gone. Sorta like electricity here.

To hold the nozzle on the rim of the tank fill preventing it from falling out due to nozzle reaction.

Ah ... makes sense, but I'm trying to remember if I've ever seen that at a service station.

I used both tractors today. I got the EA land leveler connected to the converted QH15 and pulled it up and down the lower driveway a few times in preparation for snow plowing this winter. It was so nice out that I had the rear glass open for most of it.

As I was close to finishing up, my neighbor's tenant came home and asked me if I'd have time to pull out six concrete foundation tubes that get in his way when using his little snow plow. I decided that the MX would be better suited to the task so removed the hydraulic snow blade, got the pallet forks on and headed over. It took longer to switch out the implements and to drive over and back than it took to pull out the concrete tubes. The last one was a bit stubborn but it was an easy job for the mighty MX.

Usually the gas pumps by me don’t have them but the high flow diesel pumps do. its kinda a mixed bag, does not seem to be an enforced standard.

I have two JohnDow tanks and I would buy them again. I've never owned Vevor tanks but have looked at lots of photos of them. The components that Vevor use don't appear to be of the same quality as those used by JD. Compare the nozzles for example, compare the quality of the crimped hose fittings (hydraulic hose vs. garden hose) and the JD pumps are made in Italy, not China. If you need technical or warranty support JD has a phone number and a CS email address, but what are your chances of getting help from Vevor? I can't speak to the longevity or reliability of the JD and Vevor storage tanks, or the long-term performance of the blown tank shell in terms of exposure to UV and other environmental variables, but I would expect a US company specializing in automotive service equipment for the last 40 years to have a better handle on this.

My decision to support a US company over a Chinese one is personal, and I'm ok with paying more for a product that's designed and made by a company that specializes in automotive service equipment. I'm not saying that Vevor owners have made a bad choice, just that my criteria for choosing a product is different to theirs.

At the end of the day, these tanks and nozzles store and dispense fuel. Given the cost of fuel and the amount of fuel purchased over the next 20 years, the upfront savings of a Vevor over a JohnDow are insignificant. I'd rather support a US company that has been in business for decades and that makes a quality product rather than a Chinese conglomerate who makes a clone of a quality product but comes up short (in my opinion).

I’ve also been considering buying a steel or aluminum tank and adding my own filters and pump. I’m actually ok with a hand pump. Keeps it simple.

Phase 2 and 3 done today.

Phase 2 - remove an old garden bed and grade. no pics

Phase 3- fix an RV parking pad. I can't believe how much stone I wound up using on this. It was getting dark and I needed to get 2 machines back home so no finished pics. Boom mounted laser receiver worked great.

Client tried it it out by parking his massive RV on the finished pad. According to his phone, I was off by 1 degree. I'll take that.

Put my front and rear blades on today to get ready for snow plowing duty. Have knee replacement surgery on Thursday so wanted everything ready in case it snows while I’m going through my physical therapy, which is 6 weeks. Figured I can get on the tractor and drive without issues while healing. Hoping for no snow until end of the month but with the goofy weather patterns lately, may have snow on the ground by thanksgiving. Got 3 1/2 inches of snow last week. Melted in 3 days. Wet heavy stuff.
