What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The battery died on my 2006 L3830HST, it was the 13 year old original battery. Failed after 765 hrs. I pulled it out and will get a new one tomorrow. I still can’t believe it lasted as long as it did. What replacement do you guys use? The OEM battery is a 80D26R

Did some logging of dead pine trees on my property. Pallet forks are great for this, and so is the 40 volt DeWalt chainsaw. This thing has as much power as a gas chainsaw, and a lot less fuss. Battery lasts longer than the bar and chain oil.

Moved some boulders I dug up while trenching last month. Used them to rebuild a section of creek bank that was eroded from the last freshet.

Yes indeed on the e chain saw thing, I love my 60 volt Greenworks 16", pulling the trigger a few times a day, when doing intermittent cutting, sure beats yanking on a starter rope!

I pulled my U25 miniX, on it's trailer, up from the hangar, using the receiver built into my forks front rack (forks off). It keeps the weight in nice and close. Then I lifted the front of the Jacobsen Kubota powered mower I am refurbishing. I unbolted and reversed every single flail, not it cuts like new again! And yes, I did, block up the Jake with jack stands before getting underneath.

Dug a shallow trench to transplant a bunch yellow iris and then began building a new compost pile with materials moved from all over the property.

Poured concrete yesterday. About a cubic meter of it was for stairs down to the creek, and not accessible for the cement truck to chute it, so I used the tractor bucket to haul concrete down to the form. Worked out ok, but had to take it slow on the slopes and uneven ground, a little bit sloshed out here and there.

I was going to hook the finish mower up, but looked at the oil filter (I sharpie the hours on) then the hour meter and bought a gallon of Rotella T 15-40 and a new Kubota filter. Truth be told I'd be snicking off the heads of clover at this point. BUT - I'll be ready for the next mowing. I bought a case of grease too while I was at it - I go through that like nobody's business.

Previous owner of my house was kind enough to scatter concrete and bricks all over the yard randomly, so started tonight after work digging up a big patch of concrete that was exposed enough to catch the deck of the zero turn if not careful.

Hauled off 8 bucket loads of that tonight. Slowly getting the property to where I want it. When we moved in 2 1/2 yrs ago there was maybe a half acre around the house that was maintained, rest was over grown brush and weeds. Now I have 4-5 acres cleared that I mow regularly. The kubota has caught some hell but hasn’t missed a beat.

Put the box blade on and re-graded the driveway to eliminate the ruts the daily downpours here in the Ozarks have created.
Then mowed for about 2 hours. Just hit 100 hours on the B2320 today.

Mowed and moved some wood with the grapple.

Welded the first of 3 hooks on the bucket.
I got a gated slip hook and welded it to a piece of angle iron that is welded to the bucket top lip.
Tomorrow I will weld 2 grab hooks in line with the loader arms.

I took the mower off and put the box blade on, and for the first time put the rippers in it, down all the way. Then I hauled it up to a neighbor's place to first loosen up some dirt and then using the FEL filled in a depression by the homes foundations where it had settled. My first time using the rippers, or whatever they are called, I had them down all the way and they worked gread, no rocks helped. Then I pulled them up and using just the blade pulled all the loose dirt into a pile more or less. I was working on a side hill so had to be careful. Fun job. It turns out the trailer I made for the U25 mini X works real well for hauling the L3301, better then the 12' dump bed trailer.

I spread some gravel, moved some old scrap wood to the burn pile, and prepped/staged some trusses for placement next week.

Finally dry enough to hit all those wet spots from the spring rains. Moved a lot of dirt filling in low spots and worked on my back dragging.

Bush hoggin till it got to hot out - I'll head back out after the worst of this heat goes away probably after 4 or so this evening and mow till dark.
