Adding a side-shed to my hangar, using the pallet forks with a plyboard platform clamped to the forks for a lift:

Moved firewood into the garage and put the front blade away. Pretty sure I won't need it for anything until it's time to push dirt with it.

Put the new grapple to work. I cut and limb the trees, wife stacks the logs with the grapple. What a time saver! Well 2 time savers, Wife and Grapple.
Around 700 more trees to cut down, then we'll be ready to stump it out.

Since it was finally warm here in CT, I did some general maintenance checks checking all my fluids and added quart of engine oil.

Installed the new "dust ejector" that was missing from my air box since I got the tractor

Apparently I'm missing an "inner" air filter (have no idea on the part number on that for the BX2660)

Tried the EPDM weather stripping mod on the cowl to cut down on the hood rattle - worked great!

Replaced my yuppie crap "fidget spinner" with a new one (old one faded to yellow!)

My old dog hung out in the sun while I worked on the BX

Was finally dry enough to get the mowing done around here this weekend. Then had to tow the John Deere back to the house lol.

Last week digg'n stumps, I didn't notice I had a leak until I moved her for a different angle. Bid puddle in the dirt, hard to tell how much I lost. Thought it was a hose blown, but turned out to be just a loose fitting. I was planning on upgrading to the synthetic SUDT2 when I did the 50 hr service. She's only got 30 hrs on her, but since I had to buy a few gallons of fluid anyway, she now has new filters and new synthetic. I'm happy to report that I have noticed a distinct decrease in the 'HST whine volume' that I was hoping for.

After 6 months of working my L3901 very hard, it's reward finally came today. Passed final inspection on my small barndominium. Bought the tractor with 58 hours on it exactly 1 year ago. It now has 326 hours on it and it's survived being outdoors everyday and through 2 hurricanes. It's latest feat was loading 45 dump trailers (12 bucket loads each) of sand, dirt and gravel, and mowing 20 acres the past 3 days. Good tractor!

Started some spring cleaning with the BX23s over the weekend, here is Part 1 of 3. More to videos to come soon!

Ha, cool video. They are great little machines that certainly punch above their weight class. If I could make a suggestion...get yourself a set of pallet forks. You'll move more wood, faster, for sure. You've gotta be real careful carrying weight (logs) with the hoe. These things can "wheelie" easily. Not to mention that the hoe can be easily "tweaked" if you were to snag a log against a tree (BTDT)

Anyway, thanks for posting the video...and they say spring is right around the corner...

Great Tip! I didn't even think about the tipping one, but now that you mention it I do have video of me bringing a huge 8' x 2' diameter black walnut log up the hill and I had to counter balance the tractor with a huge log in the loader to offset the weight.

Ideally I would like to get a set of grapples but that is just not in the budget currently.

Got to play with a new member of the family - one can never have to many machines with backhoe attachments on them. This one makes #4 for me. :)

Moved more boxes of firewood from my storage area up to my Sugar House so I could boil Maple Sap today.
