I watched 300 hours roll up on my B2601. Almost 3 years to the day after delivery. This machine has been stellar.

Mowed the lawn. With how wet it is and looking at the forecast, may have been the last time this year. Too soon to tell. Rolled over 300 hours on the machine.
I also pulled the front blade out to start getting that ready. Ugh...

....... I love my batwing.
Love mine too.
Almost got busted by the Mrs when I bought it.
Mrs: “Another toy for you?”
Me: “Sweetie, its for US and OUR farm.”
I think she fell for .... I mean she got it.
It was close.

I hear you on that one.

I have the opposite problem. Mine don't care what I buy and she thinks she needs a pink Kubota M series cab tractor. My dealer even thru a monkey wrench in the mix. He said if we pay they'll paint. I got her out of there as fast as I could.

I planned to get the bulk of my cutting done this weekend but I twisted one of my drivelines out this morning. Seems like equipment just knows when the parts stores are closed.

fixed the ROPS rattle with two M10 1.25 -20 bolts, and bucket level indicator rattles with approx 10 3/8" nylon washers...Unloaded the neighbors wood stove from his truck too.

Simply too wet here to do anything else tractor related.

If you did something to or on you're tractor today and you don't want to start a new thread then post it here :D

I installed a horn I took from a tiny Toyota and then installed a decompression cable on mine today. Was going to do a little grading on the drive but got tired :(

Just installed my 3rd function and grapple today. This will cut brush cleanup time in half and save my back. 20181010_210254.jpg 20181010_205516.jpg

I had the pleasure of helping some of my older neighbors clean up after Florence hit with my BX2380. One came by the next day and gave me a bottle of Grey Goose, the other dropped of some Cohiba cigars.

Had to shift some concrete pavers, and used the forks with a pallet. Found out that 10 pavers at 88lbs each is the limit if I don't have ballast or the back on - did the real wheel wheelie when I initially had 12 on. Might be able to handle it better if it wasn't on the forks.

What I did Part II.
Forgot to lower the ROPs before entering the garage, fortunately I was going very slow.

Moved my tractor shed with carryall and forks

Then put a new tarp over the original cover
I see you used a couple of 1x12 to support the top.

I used some 1x2s as purlins to support the tarp on top and sides and they also can support the extra length of the tarp. I think pvc pipe would work better since it comes in longer length. Just a suggestion to consider to help the tarp from flapping itself to death.

I used 2 ft wide plywood to support the top. After moving the shed changed to 4 ft plywood to cover the full angled section.

Hoping with flat support the snow will slide off instead collecting in drooping pockets.

This past week I washed my B7100, then zapped all the paces I thought could trap water with WD40, and then greased the tractor, FEL, & backhoe. I then pulled the FEL hydraulic pump, which has been leaking at the shaft seal. Hopefully I can replace just the shaft seal, as the rest of the pump is tight, leak free, and produces the pressure it should.

Although you have the opposite problem it seems the wives are similar.
Mine had an old Massey Furgeson 165 that she painted pink. She said that the MF on the side meant, Made for Females. :D

P.S. Do not show her this post or you may end up with a freshly painted pick cab tractor! :D

P.S.S. That pink still has not worn off 12 years later.
