I get that amount of trash about every month or so, sometimes more, sometimes less. I even found a pay stub with the payees name and address on it once. Sent him a nice letter about what an ass he is.

I'd send the employer a letter about the guy 'trashing the company name'. Many companies care about public image. The boss suggesting he go help clean up neighborhoods may change the attitude.

I got my right fender handle for my l2501 today.. fits perfect.. needed is part 02271-70100 the two nuts for the handle. also finally found some 3 point quick hitch bushing that fit perfect..

Pictures of part numbers of anyone needs them.. the bushings were pretty hard to find without part numbers.. measurements I had were off from what I could find. Bushing size is 1.44ODX.93IDX1.93LG

Put the box blade in the shed so it's easy to retrieve if i need some rear ballast this winter.

Put the bucket in the garage on a shelf

Put the pusher box on and adjusted the shoes so I don't push all the gravel off the driveway and onto my lawn.

Where I live in New Hampshire it's not Massey owners who trash the state, it's what we call Massholes (tourists from Massachusetts) who trash everything. They come to New Hampshire to see its natural beauty and proceed to throw all their trash on the roads, in the rivers, in the woods and on the mountains. With Covid it was 3 times as disgusting as normal with trash this year. In my area we normally do one big cleanup every spring but that's not enough at the rate the Massholes have been going.

Yeah ... me neither. You need at least two saws if you plan to cut wood very often. The worst I did was get two saws, a farm-jack and a tractor stuck in and under a large twin-trunk oak blowdown (all sorts of unpredictable forces happening with that one and on very soft ground). Second farm-jack resolved that one.

hahahahah. BTDT. At least you had the nuts to post a photo. Next time, bottom cut first (1/3 of the way to the top) then finish with top cut down. Just watch your toes.

And if you can't get any help and don't have another saw, simply remove the two nuts that hold the bar and chain to the power head. Leave the bar and chain and go home. Come back when you have what you need. No worries about anyone taking the bar and chain unless they are ambitious thieves.

I checked the pump pressure on our 2017 BX23s today. Running approx 1700psi.

I bought a VERY NICE top quality gauge & shim kit from Mike (botaproducts)
Mike sends the kit with a NICE case & KUBOTA FACTORY OEM shims too.

I`ll add a shim or two and see if i can get it closer to factory spec`s (which is 1849psi)
Looking forward to see if this will help the loader lift a little better. It does seem to struggle.

If any of you want a REALLY NICE gauge kit to test with, Mike has the very best kit. It is top notch quality!

I've been dealing with a lot of windfalls this year as well and came to the quick realization that my MS180 is good for only around 80% of what I need to cut. Need to get a larger saw to finish off that 20% and drop a few red oaks before they come down where I don't want them

Im in the same boat. Luckily my neighbor has a MS362 with a 25 inch bar. He came over and helped me with the bigger stuff and when I was stuck. I'll tell you one thing.... that saw will wear you OUT. It is heavy and a beast to handle.

Transported the L2501 back to my house from my land. Its ready for the 50 hour maintenance , a good cleaning from being down at the land and some much needed tweaks on my seat lift.

This might be a good time for a quick 50 hour review.
I will start with a few negatives that I knew going in from reading other reviews.
The L2501 seat is for me uncomfortable. The non-adjustable seat back reclines too far back.
The tractor does have a fairly loud hydro whine while operating.

The positives
So far not one issue with the tractor other than having to lube the loader joystick linkage.
Super easy starting.
Plenty of power for the operations that I have used it for so far. Loader work digging a small pond, grapple work including ripping out Scot pines roots and all. Box blading , but in all fairness I have a too small box blade.

This is why you save your old chainsaw bars.. unbolt the power head put the old bar on with a spare chain. It will cut straight enough to get the stuck bar out or get that one stuck too.

After a “good talkin’ to” from my father, it was a long, muddy and shameful drive back to the barn on the old ‘Moline for another bar and chain.....

I got another talkin’ to as I prepared to free the two saws.....let’s say his “advice “ shouldn’t be repeated here!

He still reminds me of that on occasion.
