Will I have time to build an ark?

On a serious note, with my former job, here is the location where I had some of projects on the Marshall Islands. https://maps.app.goo.gl/uSSPGnkusYhRZjHd6 The islands are only a few feet above sea level, guess what, they must be floating, cause since WWII, there has not been any indication of sea level rise, just shore erosion. These islands are restricted for civillian/anyones travel, All I can say is that AF has a nice golf course out there, bring your clubs if your in a position to visit.

If you think that islands don't float, better listen to the elected representatives....

On another serious note.
When will all the dinosaurs return??
Cause that's what I'm looking forward to is another hunting season And variety of meat.
Georgia rep. Hank Johnson is a full fledged buffoon, challenged only occasionally by Hawaii senator Mazzie Hirono.
How do voters elect these morons?

The well is hot for PFAS
Well caution to the wind, I'll wrap it in plastic seal it with some surgical tape.

I'm nursing two compressed vertebrates,

COVID as of Saturday morning,
And on August 31st I have a consultation for a wait for it....

Somewhere in between all that I need to get my firewood done for winter, so here is a link to my GoFundMe page.

It hasn't rained here in about 6 weeks, and the temperature has been at or over 100 almost all of those days.

My poor grass looks like dried up cut hay and the trees are looking bad.

If we don't get some rain soon, I will be using it to carry dead trees to the back of my property.
Where abouts are ya?

About 30min north of Beeville.

Over 2 months since I had a drop of rain, I do have 2.3in of dust in my rain gauge though.

The last moisture we had was June 22, trace recorded, June 5, 4/10ths, June 4th trace. Last significant rain was mid May. Started cows on hay last month.

Nice stand.

Those who don't own a stand, back up to a heavy duty post and strap it to the post and disconnect. Or drill it down half way into the ground and disconnect it from the tractor.
Thank you. I am about 2.5 miles off the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Malpeque Bay is in my front yard so we have salt in the air and by times if we have high wind, I've seen the yard white with it to the point you would think it was lime so I keep my equipment inside when not in use. The stand and pallet make things a lot easier to shuffle around.

Yes sir, I know the area well. I'm an East Texaner myself, born & lived in that part of the woods more than half my life. In 2014 I retired from the Army, recruited East Tx, from Montgomery County to Orange. Prior lived off 1488 across from the Woodlands. Moved before the madness began in 2014.

Anyways, let's just say, we're lucky to get half the amount of rain that Montgomery gets, and boy is it crucial to get close to the yearly - avg. 27in.

not much to say about this one. Trench boxes and a KX-080 rental. Made a huge mound of soil. We had a few collapses but all were safe with two trench boxes. Used the B2650 as an assist in backfilling and cleanup. Jobsite will need lots of time to settle being down 8 plus feet and the soil was pretty greasy.

Got home at about 8:30 pm. Unleaded the B2650, and loaded up the U-27 for tomorrow.

You can see where the cave in(s) happened just by looking at the sides of the trench

I'll probably need to revisit this one in a month or so to regrade. But, It's safe for now and the sewer line is flowing fine. It's crazy how much soil is left over when digging deep. There's just no way (with equipment that we have) to get it all back into place.

Throw Shelia Jackson Lee from Texas in and you have a trifecta. She's leaving the US Senate to run for mayor of Houston....lord help.
And yes it's dry at both my places.

At least only the voters of Houston will have to deal with Sheila now, rather than the voters of the entire USA.

With a few folks doing maintenance on equipment lately, I need to order alot of maintenance items myself. Dang has prices gone up. The skidsteer maintenance refers to alot of Shell oil products for recommended use, I will definitely be buying those, cause it's deff cheaper than Kuboter rebranded products.

It would certainly be nice if we could determine the actual maker of Kubota SUDT-2, and buy directly from that source.

The issue isn't find the maker, it is finding the same product from that maker. When Shell refinery was owned here locally and made oil, they made lots of different brands of motor oil. The issue you have each brand have specific requirements beyond the basic ingredients. One product may have more 'abc' additive and another may have more 'xyz' additive. Even though they were both made at the same place, both were motor oil, the final product was different.
