Well I have been rolling up the hours on the BX23S with a few projects this spring. Biggest project so far has been relocating a rather large mound of rocky dirt, I wanted to make the dirt useable so it was run through a home made rock separator.

Another project I completed last week was to clean out a swale that had slited shut over the last decade and then last summer during a bad storm got even more debris piled on top of it.

One way to do it is to go down the page after uploading and copy attachment link then use the Yellow square with the mountain and the sun and insert that link.

We had a Micrpoo-Burst come through during the Thunderstorm on Sunday and blew a couple of sheets of plywood off of the run in.
Had the Nephew pull it out of the tree today.

I wanted to make the dirt useable so it was run through a home made rock separator.

What method did you use to separate the rock from the dirt? I have a rather large pile to sort out looking for arrowheads but mostly rocks since it is on a river. Using a screening table but is slow going (the wife wanted 1/4 inch mesh so it takes a lot of time to get it through)

I used a grizzly type separator to get the bigger stuff out. Its made out of scrap wood, 3\4 emt conduit, and emt clamps. Cost less than 100 bucks

I cleared a 40 x 80 section of woods on my property. Cut about 40 trees. Wouldn't have gotten half of it done without my 2680!

Well it was a bit to wet out there to do any serious dirt work so the machines spent most of their day sun bathing. The BX did dig out an old peach tree. The AC not wanting to be left out ripped one out with a chain and did a little raking to get the winter stones out of the yard and back onto the drive.

I transplanted two young conifers today. They were too close to the house.
I life in the woods, and there are not many places to put new trees.

Two holes were attempted in ledge before the first site was abandoned.
Reconsideration had two holes dug on the west property line.

The 7200HST with the scrape and scoop bucket out back was used to haul water.

Driving so as not to spill out too much requires some attention. But man-o-man, that scoop bucket sure holds more than I care to carry in five gallon pails!

After 3 weeks with no tractor time, I managed to get it out of the drive shed and avoid the muddy patch in front of the entrance.
I backed up to the grapple/fork and chained it to the box blade so I could move it out of the mud.
Dropped off the grapple at my shop, drove to the pond below my folks house and bucketed out a few loads of road gravel/stone that washes into the pond every year.
I let it drain for a few months and then use it around the homestead.
I returned to my shop, dropped the bucket and attached the grapple fork
then drove back to my folks and picked up the 8 large stones that I knocked off the wall plowing snow this past winter.
This is really the first time I have used the grapple forks and it works great.
Reaching over and down below the wall to pick up the stones was pretty cool.
In past years I have struggled with a chain and bucket to move stone but no more

My BX2660 is having an identity crisis! Picked up another 4 weights today, put it to work shortly after. My wife already bought me some Kubota Orange spray paint cans!

I kinda found the limit of the 3-point lifting power. After a bit of a struggle I finally got a big rock into the transport box only to find that the L3450 couldn't lift it. So I lifted the front of the tractor with the loader and took the gain on the 3-point. When I let the front down again, box and rock came a few inches clear off the ground and I was able to drive away.

Still getting the paths around my property ready for the spring. Ground is nice and soft so now is the time to get them done.
