Not today but last Saturday I hooked up the middle buster plow and dug 400# of red and white new potatoes. On the way home I called my buddy who is a local chef and sold 200# to him, truly farm to table as they were in his produce room before they had been out of the ground 24 hours. Yield was right at 10# of potatoes harvested for every 1# of potato seed planted. Also pulled 30# of sweet onions but the tractor was not involved with that:). Been delivering excess potatoes to neighbors, family and pastor... and ate a few as well.

Layed out and dug 20 holes for the new shop posts.
A moose walked through the string lines so they needed to be redone.

Saturday I mounted a set of gauges to my little tank. Oil pressure, water temp and voltage. Followed Hokie's How-To and it was great (Thanks for that!). Haven't had a chance to actually start it up to check everything out, but I did crank it over with decompression lever pulled, and it ran up to 40psi quick and held solid there. All-in-all, I'm happy. Will post up pics soon to prove it. :p

Well, I did nothing to my tractor, since my B7100 is 100 miles away. But, I did order me a Piranha tooth bar for the bucket today and a Pat's quick hitch set up.

Today I removed the cab and backhoe from my bx24 and put my Bush mower on. (After a skinned knuckle and a few choice words) I did some mowing. :)

Hodge, I agree you 100%. This whole conversation about welding on a ROPS is precipitated by protecting corporations from litigation.

I think America would be a better place if all law schools were shut down for at least 10 years. Those folks have to make a living and and law suits present opportunities for that.
You know what they call 10,000 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean? A good start!

Started clearing out a relatively flat place down below the house in the woods that I've been meaning to.
Used the back blade to clear the leaves, mulch and loose rocks.
Used the grapple to dig up cedars that had grown into it over the years. I found that the grapple does an excellent job on up to about 5" cedars if I push it over first, then back up and run the tines under the roots. Curl back and maybe some forward movement popped them up and closing the grapple grabs em to move to burn pile. The hardwoods were a little tougher and the smaller stuff seems to be a PITA for the grapple slipping between the tines so I'm putting the bucket and piranha tooth bar back on to try on those today. Used the back blade to clean out the natural spring nearby this spot.
Took about 4 beers.

I wondered, where in Ok. are there that many trees? Then I looked up where you're located. Only a few miles from Ark.

Looks like you're having too much fun!

Always seem to work right through lunch & sometimes late into twilight, so I added a cheap stick-on automotive dash clock.

Finally got to get some work done on " ??? " , still working on a name for her.

Did some more fab work on the replacement battery tray,
cut it down to the correct size
DSC_0055 (4).jpg
and welded it up (ugly I know)
DSC_0060 (2).jpg
added the hood supports an it got a coy of paint
DSC_0068 (2).jpg
Still needs some "cosmetic" work so it looks better

Got my hydraulics hooked up
DSC_0075 (2).jpg
and got the fuel system plumbed in (I know I bought 4 new clamps, can't find one)
DSC_0076 (2).jpg

Gonna have "fire in the hole" soon, hopefully after all this she will start right up ?

Did I mention I found a GOOD (REALLY GOOD) :) front bumper, that will save a lot of fab work,
thanks Russell for all the dimensions and pictures, almost glad I don't need them any more !
But I do enjoy that kind of work :D

Installed the new (fabbed) battery tray, it is not perfect but once there is a
plastic liner and battery in it, it will look fine, better than the corroded one.

Looked over the new (to me / used) front bumper, need to get going on repainting it.

Odd your bumper has no holes in the bar like mine does to bolt weights in place

Got my 50 hour service all done [emoji2] then went back to moving 15 more yards of stone dust for the new patio.
