What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Spent 7 hours yesterday and today grappling deadfall and freshly chainsawed trees of all sizes and species. I am forestry mulching and clearing along my north border leaving mature oaks and a few white pines.

I picked up the grapple from a local repair welding fellow. He straightened the brackets, both had bent and added a extra reinforcing angle on the bracket that was bent the worst. Glad to have it back and ready to put to work again. I would have preferred proper gussets but it is what it is. The pin in it now is just temporary until I receive a proper pivot pin.

I also spent the day yesterday cutting out fencing wire wound around the mulching head drum, lots of fun and my work gloves got a workout!

I'm kinda thinking about buying a set of replacement tines for my HLA pallet forks for moving brush, 4 might be better than two! I don't see why I can't

I'd just get cheaper ones as long as they are the class II type hooks I think they should fit right on.

What model of forks from them do you have. i was looking and saw a lot of options. Ideally I would like something that will work great with my la526 loader but I can keep if i ever get a larger tractor or ctl.

I have the model HD2048, also says model HD20BO500 as well for some reason.

I haven't used them very much to be honest as I got the tractor late last fall. But they seem to be well made and heavy duty. Doubt I'll ever break them haha.

Last year I welded up a 3ft extension for the PJ 22ft tilt trailer so that I could tow the M6060 and RC3712 12ft folding cutter to my friend's property and to other sites around the valley. It wasn't a good towing experience, mostly due to a lot of weight sitting way behind the axles. Since I've put a deposit down on a 30ft Kaufman gooseneck trailer, I decided to sell the PJ tilt trailer.

This afternoon I used the MX and pallet forks to get the extension off the trailer and had to make a couple of cuts in order to achieve that. When I was fabricating the extension, I told myself that it would make a really nice cart or dolly if it didn't work out as intended. I guess I'll be doing that now.

I took off the backhoe and installed one side of the 3 point arms to measure the height at the lowest position (7") and decided to put the drawbar at 10" to allow for misalignments or uneven surfaces. The top link will attach 23" above the drawbar.

Very nice! I am hoping it serves you well! If you dont have a mixing bit or mixing drill I highly recommend getting one For the concrete. I just mixed it right in the barrel after hand mixing a couple bags.

After sand blasting, acid treatment and two primer coats today finally the top coat for my rear axle steering parts and thanks to the nice weather thermonuclear accelerated paint hardening.

Thrust bearings and wheel bearings still stuck in the post somewhere but a few extra days for the paint before assembly is probably not a bad thing either.

For those who have the Standard L series with the R4s with loaded rears, what do you set your tire pressures at? The manual says what the front should be but when it comes to loaded rears it's sorta confusing.

I'm gonna check them out this weekend then. I know I got a make sure the rear is at 12 o'clock position and I think someone says to give it a shot of air before checking pressure so it clears the stem from beet juice. Idk first time checking loaded tires!
