Nerwin, maybe the tractor would not turn left because you had the differential lock pressed. Tractor will not turn when it is locked down.

Also, using a tractor larger then you're use to is like getting a new puppy. It takes a while to get use to each other. Don't make judgements too early!!!!

It is easy to fix, the upper pin has two holes because it fits different loaders, just remove it and point in down until the other hole lines up. It won't stick up as high and less likely to catch on something.

I have a 1500 W heater on one of my tractors. It has a timer to come on 2 hrs. before I need it, and probably less time would do the job. Been using it for probably 10 years. Can't imagine why a heater would need to be powered overnight when a couple of hours gets the job done.

i'm aware diff lock makes it hard to turn. I had it unlocked when I attempted to steer. But yeah I guess it's all part of the learning experience. Now when I get stuck again I'll have a better understanding of what to do!

That's good then. I can do that. I looked up pictures of the LA525 loader and many of them are like mine for some reason despite the manual showing it pointing down like you said. Maybe nobody pays attention? Thanks for pointing that out otherwise I wouldn't have known and I read the manual for the loader too and I still catch that haha.

Not a big deal but you seem to like to keep your nice and correct.

I can see how it could potentially be a hazard if something like a branch got stuck in there. I mean I'd rather it be correct to Kubota's specifications. But I wonder if some mount it this way to see it easier?

I think they don't look at the diagram, but who knows, never had a problem seeing it.

Your puppy comparison is so true, we are 2 months into a new rescue, Layla, and she is a handful. She is making the old handful, Rudy, look like a real good boy!

There does this look correct? Hahaha. It was an easy fix indeed. However, I don't like that it rubs a tiny bit on the hydraulic hose, I mean it barely touches it. Wonder if that's why they did it the other way. I don't know if it would hurt it over time. It doesn't always touch.

The pipe rubbing a little won't hurt it one bit, if it was the bolt then I would worry.

After you run it awhile it will become second nature to do things in a certain pattern.

Keep it in 4wd unless your turning on a hard surface.
Ballast weight is your friend.
Keep the loader low when traveling.
Mud and R4's are vinegar and water.
If you need to play "work" in mud, snow, or ice get a set of chains, it's night and day difference!
If you get into the situation again, before you spin tries and Cake them, DIFF LOC, Double check 4wd, loader curled and struck, then while un curling and holding diff lock ease into the HST and it back out.

FYI: It's easier to get unstuck like this backing out then it is trying to go forward.

Well I got mine stuck today. First time. I was just cleaning up around the fire pit from being all the brush. There is a small decline, on the other side, I went a little too far and when I went to back up....nope. The tractor told me I want to go forward.

Just spun and spun. Even tried dif lock but that help. It was just too muddy and the tires were full so it had no traction. Theres a creek only feet away. I was a bit worried. I had the bucket on and just put it in the ground so it couldn't move and took a few minutes to figure out a plan to get out of it.

I even went to my neighbor who has a tractor and asked for help, he has way more experience so but it was gonna be a while before he could help so I figured I would give it another go.

Managed to use the bucket to curl myself back up this really small incline. But yeah it was scary to me but a joke to others I'm sure. Either way it was a learning experience.

It doesn't look bad but the tractor wanted nothing to do with it.

Honestly I'm kinda starting to regret this tractor. It's just too big and heavy for what I need. I got a good deal on it sure but it's probably not what I really needed. I might have to consider downsizing to something small, maybe B series or heck even the BX. Something I will be giving some more thought to for sure. I don't know how it's gonna be once the ground is nice and dry, maybe it won't be too bad but I have a feeling it's gonna be a pain to use around the house.

What I did learn is that wet ground and mud are tractors kryptonite.

Man I felt so embarrassed and stupid.
So your exact experience with that "mildly" soft level terrain is what I dealt with with my first tractor w/ R4 tires. All my tractors that followed I get R1 tires. Never again will I get R4's. They are worthless IMO unless the tractor will not see slippery surfaces. I even had my R4's spin on wet leaves, ridiculous.

Yes that is the way it was designed. The hoses should not rub, mine have not in 3 years, maybe a ty-wrap or you can loosen the hoses at the 90 and move over.

Makeshift fire poker. Sure beats a rake. Had a big pile of ash that wasn’t burning, started poking and found pieces of old retaining wall. While that was going I got 4 of my 10 IBC totes ready for fire wood by removing the bladders and cutting one side partially, then got the splitter out and split two totes of wood, the wife even helped stack. I’m pooped.

And for all those keeping score on damage and dents to my tractor, I noticed I have a bent tooth on my grapple. I noticed it pre fire poker, so that wasn’t the cause!

Wonder if EA will warranty it?!

Today I looked over my B7100 from the kitchen window. Everything looked pretty normal so I refilled my coffee cup and sat down to analyze everything I saw. This is the kind of tractor work I like to do in the winter.

Tomorrow I plan to ponder if it will start if needed. One thing is for sure, there hasn't been any need to move any snow this year.

Today, my new rotary tiller was delivered. It’s an Indian brand called LandForce, and I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially given the price. It’s more affordable and seems better built than some of the more well-known brands in this area.

I decided to test it out, but unfortunately, I chose a spot under a tree. It ended up cutting through a root, which also snapped the safety bolt in the process—bringing my work to an abrupt end. I think I managed to till a whole 3 feet before it happened! 😉

Such worse timing! After 3 days of unusual warm weather and the frost completely gone...the driveway turned into soup. Fixed it yesterday..basically band-aid in hopes that it was gonna get cold enough the following night. Nope it snowed like over a foot with snow drifts nearly 4 feet high. So I had to go plow and what does a soft driveway and a snow plow equal? A damn mess!! I managed to get all the snow moved and then had to put the bucket on and smooth the driveway out again because its suppose to get down to the teens tonight.

Well I guess on the bright side....I got more seat time. I'm getting good at swapping SSQA attachments!

I'm not looking forward to mess I'll have in the spring. Luckily it's not just me...everyone around me are experiencing the same thing. Went for a ride yesterday and seeing huge piles of sod tore up everyhere...big piles of dirt and people's driveways completely tore up on the sides.

Maybe I could lend a hand and make some $$$ this spring 🤔
