Saw weather channel while ago; quite a swath through the south. Looks like Ford might have gotten hit a few hours ago also.

We were hit by a spring storm last week, but still have a way to go.

Cleaned pellet stove tonight after work. 43 degrees today. Another 45-60 days in our heating season. Old timer has had almost 90 tons through it in about 15 years.

Made another planter box for outside. We grow many herbs out there. Great stuff for cooking. Be another 45-60 days before we can use it.

Rain and wind here. Lots of thunder and lightening as well. Got quite a bit of rain. Haven't heard the totals yet

Thankfully it has passed us and the weather guy said 2 1/2". Some areas got 7-8", flooding, and wind damage The East Coast will get it tomorrow.

I'll be back to sawmilling logs tomorrow.

So now our rainfall total has now been updated to 5-6". I knew that we had a "river" behind our place but we are safely on a ridge.

Well we have a couple of days before this next one gets here. Mid-day Wednesday for us but Tuesday for you guys West and North of me.

Hmm. Our forecast tues wed is snow, freezing rain, rain, and a high of 60?? Not attractive. Today was near record cold daytime temps. Bitter wind and the 20s. We generally have a little snow the first week of April, but I feel put upon. I have had enough winter.

We are under a Winter Weather Adversely from midnight till 11 tomorrow, and the high is going to be 70f, ice and snow,, and here I thought spring was here,, silly me

There are two storm systems colliding tomorrow which is putting us under a very strong wind alert tomorrow and possible storms tomorrow night.

Sounds like we are supposed to have strong winds and lots of rain tomorrow.

The storm front has passed us with some wind and rain, but no damage. The tornadoes were 50-75 miles North of us.

We are in no danger of ever flooding but we do get probably a foot deep runoff in the lower portion of our back yard.

The winds were mild. Lots of rain, but the system has pushed through and thankfully no damage.

Now the cold temps, 37 right now, was 69 yesterday.

Temps on the way down from 63 to 46 to expected 32. Winds been howling, and generator is running. Many scattered outages.
