was able to remove my BH92 backhoe today for the first time. I also installed my 3-point hitch (also first time) and added my Speedco QH.
I’m still not sure how to set the telescoping arms and the top link. the first two photos show how the upper part of the arms are installed. There is about a 1/4” of play. Should these sit flush. The third photo shows the QH installed. Does this look correct? The last photo shows how much I had to extend the top link to make the QH is level. Is this OK?

Arms should be in and locked, then adjust the top link so the hitch is plumb. Looks good from here!
You could add a washer or two if you're not happy with the side to side free play where the side links (lift rods) connect to the rockshafts. My MX came with washers in place for that purpose.
So I got the WoodMaxx uncrated today. I used the QH to attached it to the tractor. I had to shorten the PTO shaft by 2” (following the owners manual). Filled it with oil and ran it through the little break-in procedure. I then learned that b/c I have the air ride seat, you lose the ability of being able to tilt the seat forward in order to keep the PTO running g when you are not in the tractor. As a short-term fix, I just put a suitcase weight on the seat. That seemed to work. I drove over to my first brush pile and chipped a bunch of logs, branches and brush. All in all, a successful day.
A couple of questions.
1. The brush piles I am trying to chop have been in place for some time, so trying to break them apart is difficult by hand. I really need to level them first using the grapple. Is it ok to do this with the wood-chipper hanging off the QH? Or should I remove the chipper, break apart the piles with the grapple, and then re-attach?
2. When I do detach the WC, is it ok to leave the PTO attached to it, or should the process be: lower the WC to ground, remove PTO shaft from both sides, and then pull away from WC.
3. If I get another PTO implement, like a brush hog, can I use the same PTO shaft or does every implement come with its own shaft?

1) You can leave the chipper on the QH/3PT, but you want to avoid situations where it is bounced wildly. Of course, be careful of your clearances with any implement on the tractor.
2) You can just leave the shaft attached to the chipper - just avoid having the end sit in the dirt or debris to keep it clean.
3) you might be able to use the same PTO shaft with other implements, but you would have to confirm/measure for the other ones. Most people have a shaft for each PTO implement, because it is often required (need differing lengths). Also, it is easier.
different people will of course have different preferences. I'm going give you an educated guess that:
1) most if not all will leave attached
2) most will disconnect pto from tractor and leave the pto shaft attached to the implement. Each implement I own have their own pto shafts.
3) yes you can use pto shafts across multiple implements but I don't know anyone who does. Each implement gets own pto shaft.
so some of this is about preference, some is about economy/cost, some is about convenience. . I have separate shafts on each implement. Many of my implements do not have quick connects on the implement side at all only on tractor side.

Don't you have a button in the cab that allows you to keep the PTO running when you're not in the seat? My MX has that feature so I'd be surprised if your L6060 doesn't. I have the air ride seat and all I do is push the PTO button on the dash for 3 seconds and it lights up and then I can engage the PTO and leave the cab.

If you store the implement outdoors for a long period then is when you want to remove the complete PTO shaft and store it indoors if possible.
They tend to rust together so they don’t slide easily. Also they rust to the implement input shaft.
