Well, I almost placed the order on the MX-9900 this afternoon, but I stopped because even though shipping is included, it had options for a lift gate or a straight truck delivery. I’m not sure if I need a lift gate since I have pallet forks for my L6060. I’m also not sure what they mean by a ‘straight truck’. No 18-wheeler can make it up my driveway, but I don’t mind pulling it off a truck with the tractor. I tried calling WoodMaxx for more information, but couldn’t reach anyone. I’ll try again tomorrow.

When I ordered my WoodMaxx MX series, the delivery options were: specific date and lift gate. Since the tractor is at our property in north Georgia, I selected specific date (so I would be there). No 18 wheeler could make it up my driveway, too. I selected lift gate; I do not have pallet forks (just never need them, except for this once in 5+ years). The 18 wheeler off loaded the chipper on my driveway at the road, and I picked it up with my tractor's quick hitch (BTW, it was bolted to the pallet).

Do you have any local businesses with a loading dock or forklift that you could have it sent to? Hardware store? Or even a carriers local hub?

Your L6060 with pallet forks will work just fine since the shipping weight is 1,000 lb. A straight truck would mean either a flat bed or enclosed box truck that might be 40ft long. I typically meet the driver at the bottom of my driveway when I have big stuff delivered.

Last time tailgate service was an option on a shipment to my residence, it was $300 extra. I wouldn’t pay $5 extra for tailgate service for a palletized item within the capacity of my loader forks.

If the trucking company’s hub is reasonably close, I prefer picking up at the hub. They’re usually open 24/7 and they’ll usually be glad to load your truck or trailer for you with their forklift. Avoids the drama of a big ass truck in an area not designed for big ass trucks.

Seems to me that when I ordered my 9900 shipping was included (not 'free', there is no such thing as 'free' shipping) in the price, but I honestly do not remember.
Hi Kenny
The shipping is included, but there is an extra fee for the other services lift gate, straight truck, etc).
