I have had the Tooth bar for a long while now. Perfect for digging into stuff. I also bought the straight bar this year to help protect my front bucket edge. i do a lot of back dragging and the straight was a nice add on.

Figures. As soon as I get interested, they raise the price. $259 now.

Bill, The little bit that the price was raised does not negate the value of that thing. If you have a use for it, go for it. When you see the quality of that bar and the strength of it, you will appreciate the workmanship and value. I seldom find products built as well as the piranha tooth bar is these days.

I have several BXpanded products. Not the tooth bar though, but I am very happy with the quality of the items I do have. The price of steel has gone up recently, so you can kind of expect that in all items/implements that require it. As noted above, that little increase will not be noticed when you start using it. :)

We all kinda knew this was coming....and even despite the increase, the toothbar itself is almost priceless - well worth the $300 by the time it ships. It doubles or triples the "digging" power of a regular bladed FEL, helps with back dragging and finally is one bad mofo when it comes to taking out small trees!:D:eek::)

You guys are making it sound like that Piranha Toothbar will out dig Bill's backhoe. You'll have him seeing if they'll do a trade in!

I bought my toothbar a couple of years ago. I remember mulling over that purchase for several months before pulling the trigger on it. That was wasted time. I had that thing installed on my tractor 10 minutes after it was delivered. I immediately realized that I had just bought one of the most useful implements for my tractor that I could have imagined. To paraphrase a now disgraceful company's slogan, Just do it! You will not regret it.

I would love to have a backhoe but I doubt that it would get nearly as much use as the toothbar has, at least in my case.

Yeah, I'll probably still get one. I sent them an e-mail on Thursday or Friday asking how long the $239 price was in effect, and approximate shipping to my zip. I explained the tractor was not with me & I didn't know when I could measure my bucket because of the care thing with the inlaws. They didn't answer, but today I saw the price increase. Just seems to be my luck these days. I know it's only $20, but twenty here, twenty there, twenty every where.

Bill, give them a call. Unlike other businesses they actually answer the phone, and they answer questions. When I decided to order mine, I was still on the fence. After calling and talking with them I had all my questions answered and I placed the order right there on the phone. They are some really great people, for sure.

Arrived today - two days early! I was immediately impressed with how substantial it is and look forward to putting it to work. My trees however started to change color and drop their leaves - that's how scary this thing looks!

Andy, that's good! Ought to be in their advertising. Paints a word picture that's easy to see.

Well, I ordered one. 6-8 business days. The price was $259 plus shipping; the $239 price on their website is for BX models only, although that could be made clearer. The $259 price is the starting price for other models, and goes up depending on length.
Looking forward to getting it & trying it, but not sure how long that might be.

Once you put it to work you will not regret buying it. I have never seen any bad reviews on it yet.

I bought one and had it shipped to my dealer. They're installing it with the rest of the stuff I got. Still waiting on that third valve, but hopefully will have my B2650 in the next couple weeks!

Well, on sale or not, it's on it's way now. Sounds like they are a very useful add in any event.

You won’t regret it! It turns the BX into an awesome digging machine! Also serves to protect your bucket and scrape ice off smooth pavement.
