Yup! I don’t have truck brand loyalty personally, but I figured some folks may have an opinion about it haha.

The 2018 Chevy 1500 is my first truck. I really like it, except for the blown trans at 88k. I don’t even tow or plow with it. Maybe I’ll get a Ford next time. Or a Toyota. Those all seem pretty nice to me.
I was a dedicated mopar man from 1998 until 2020. Had some issues with MOPAR parts & service (5 dealers + MOPAR directly for 2 vehicles). 2 of those dealers closed (1 due to class action lawsuit).

I had enough of deal with them so in 2020 I bought a Ford F150. My Parents always drove GM and never had any major issues. Of course dad's trucks were all manuals - over 350k on 72 cheyanne (3 on tree) before body rusted away and near 300k on 86 s10 before it rusted too much. After that, the grandkids kept multiplying so they switched to minivan's.

Vehicles made in 70s and 80s were just built differently.

Yep, the utility rails being removable was a huge selling point for me. I went back and forth between a landscape utility and a car hauler. Really wanted rails but also liked the idea of being able to load with forks. The PJ was the only one I found that had removable rails. That said, I've had it I think almost three and a half years now and I have yet to remove the rails.
I know this is an old post but do you have more info on PJ so I can find their website???

I realize this thread/post is dated back a ways, but maybe I'll get a response. Worth a try.

I'm curious. Whats your method to chain the tractor to the trailer in such a small area?

This picture is for show only. When I transport, I securely attach the tractor including lowing the BH bucket down to the deck and strapping both the fel and bh independent of the tractor. I selected this trailer for its light weight and fold down ladder type ramps. Brakes on both axles. I pull with a full size, 1500 Chev. truck. Do have to adjust brake controller either when lite or heavy.

Nice trailer. I was originally looking into Aluminum, but the tandem was untouchable at the time.

Just finished the sander project.
Loaded up and heading back to the house.
Maybe I will be ready when it snows.
